Chapter 123 : Su Yen Battle with the Anceint Being Clone - Part 1

Looking at the thousands of coffins surrounding the ancient being, Su Yen was slightly shocked.

At the foot of the ancient being, intricate and strange runes adorned the ground. Just gazing at these ancient symbols sent a slight shiver down his spine.

On the lid of each of the coffins, strange runes pulsed with eerie blood-red light.

"So, these runes serve as an engine for the Blood Whisperer to keep coming back to life?" he muttered in a low voice.

The massive chamber was filled with bloody coffins, and the ancient being, standing like a god, would have made an ordinary person panic or flee in fear. But Su Yen didn't.

He had come here for this, and he needed to complete his mission. Without further ado, he gathered his strength and attacked with a powerful punch.

"You dare!" A deep, ancient voice resonated from the statue.

The ancient statue came to life and swung its massive hand to crush Su Yen's punch. It easily deflected the blow and turned to glare at Su Yen.

"So, you've decided to show yourself," Su Yen remarked, his voice laced with ridicule.

He had seen a lot of bizarre things, and sealing demons had made him immune to these ancient beings.

He didn't know why so many of them were hiding or sealed in the barren land. Perhaps, that's why the Barren Land was considered one of the forbidden lands previously.

Anyway, since he was here, ancient being or not, he was determined to destroy everything.

"You puny human, how dare you talk to this emperor like that?" the ancient being responded, its large eyes looking at Su Yen as if he were an ant.

He clicked his tongue and turned to face the palm attack. An emerald sword appeared in his hand.

He swung his sword in an arc, and powerful sword light flashed out of his blade, traveling at breathtaking speed.

The palm strike was cleaved in two and continued to move toward the ancient being.

The ancient being took a step to the side and appeared tens of meters to his left, avoiding the attack.

Quickly, he struck his palm three times. His hand moved at a dazzling speed, impossible for human eyes to follow.

The air inside the chamber twisted and dashed toward him with suffocating pressure.

"Starlight Blossom Slash - Fifth Form," Su Yen called and struck his sword at five different angles.

At once, the dark chamber was covered in blinding starlight, the starlight infused with sword energy, increasing the lethality of the attack.

"What the…" The ancient being was caught off guard, not expecting Su Yen's strike to be this powerful.

The five powerful starlights cut through the three palm strikes as if they were butter before they struck the ancient being.

"Ahhhhhh!" He cried out in agony as he retreated with trembling legs. On his massive body were five deep cuts.

Su Yen didn't let this opportunity slip away and rushed toward the ancient being with his movement skill.

He appeared on the left side of the ancient being and attacked.

He cleaved his leg and disappeared, only to reappear on the right.

He attacked again, leaving another deep cut on the ancient being's leg.
