Chapter 317: Su Ming Battle Two Nascent Soul Experts
Chapter 317: Su Ming Battle Two Nascent Soul Experts
Standing above the airspace of the 35th state, Su Ming stood calmly before the two Nascent Soul cultivators.
They were an old man and a woman. They looked at Su Ming as if they were looking at a fool.
"Are you a rebel so weak that they can't even send a Nascent Soul Expert?" the old man said, his tone dripping with scorn.
"What do you expect? Do you think any powerful experts can come out from such a barren place?" the woman added.
"Are you done?" Su Ming asked calmly.
"Oh! Are you that much of a retard that you think you stand a chance against us?" the old man asked in disdain.
"We shall see," Su Ming responded, and an emerald sword appeared in his hand.
A Core Refining warrior dares to stop two Nascent Soul experts? How laughable was that?
They didn't bat an eye at him, and the old man swung his hand as if trying to swat a fly.
Still, the casual attack was not something a Core Refining Expert could withstand.
Looking at the terrifying silvery palm attack crashing toward him, Su Ming did not change his expression.
His cultivation at the 3rd stage of the Core Refining realm rose at a breathtaking speed, breaking through to the peak of the Golden Core realm.
With his cultivation at the Peak of Golden Core realm, he swung his sword casually.
Bang!
The sword attack cleaved the incoming palm attack into two as if it was made from butter.
Gasps!
The two Nascent Soul experts gasped in shock. They looked at each other, and the nonchalant expression on their faces disappeared.
They could feel Su Ming's cultivation had mysteriously risen to the peak of the Golden Core realm.
Apart from cleaving the palm attack, this gave them another shock.
How could he increase his cultivation to the peak of the Golden Core realm?
Perhaps he was hiding his cultivation.
Many thoughts ran through their minds for that brief moment.
Even though they found Su Ming's action inconceivable, they recovered quickly.
Their expressions became solemn. "It seems you have a trick under your sleeve," the old man said casually, still maintaining his prideful demeanor.
"A trick under my sleeve?" Su Ming said, shaking his head. "I have more than a trick under my sleeve."
With that, his cultivation skyrocketed to the Nascent Soul realm.
"What!" They exclaimed with wide eyes.
"Now, do you think I have the right to fight you?" he asked, with the corner of his lips curled up a bit.
The duo was speechless. They looked at Su Ming, not believing their eyes.
"Whatever trick you use to push your cultivation to the Nascent Soul realm, I believe it won't last for long," the old man finally said after recovering from his shock.
"Then let's find out."
Whoosh!
Su Ming disappeared from his spot, leaving tens of afterimages behind and appeared before the old woman.
Even though the old woman was surprised by Su Ming's courage to attack them, she responded timely with a terrifying punch.
The air cracked with fire, and the temperature rose a couple of degrees.
Adding the principle of fire to her punch raised the lethality of the attack to another level.
If Su Ming was any other warrior, he would be defeated by this punch.
Unfortunately, he wasn't like any other warrior.
Su Ming swung his sword horizontally, slicing the fiery punch into two.
Without hesitating, he followed the attack, passing through the flame and appeared before the woman, stabbing out his sword at breathtaking speed.
'Danger!'
She screamed in her mind and prepared to evade the attack, only to witness the horror of the Pagoda bloodline.
She froze, and her body failed to respond to her call.
Bang!
The emerald blade pierced her chest, coming out from the other side.
Blood spattered from her mouth, and her face paled. She retreated a couple of steps with fear and horror marring her face.
"Y-Y-You," she struggled to say, with blood gushing out from her mouth.
She could not fathom how things developed to such an extent. She saw the attack, but her body failed to react.
Thinking of this sent a panic down her spine.
Meanwhile, the old man was stunned when he saw Su Ming's sword piercing his comrade's chest.
Even though he wanted to find out what happened, why she didn't dodge the attack, he threw the thought out of his mind as a broad blade appeared in his die.
"Die!" he shouted and swung his blade in an arc.
Instantly, the sky darkened, and lightning flashed from the blade, electrifying everything in its path.
Su Ming wore a solemn expression on his face as he deployed his movement technique.
"What…the…" the old man was stunned as he saw many Su Ming surrounding him.
Even though Su Ming seemed to appear everywhere, it was the effect of his movement skills.
He tried to avoid the horrifying lightning attack without using the bloodline suppression.
Just before the old man could pinpoint the real him, he appeared behind like a ghost and swung his sword vertically.
He felt all his hairs stand on end as he could feel death covering him like a vice.
He knew where the danger was coming from and he prepared to retaliate, only to find out his body failed to heed his call.
Bang!
The sword cleaved him into separate parts, and his body fell from the sky.
As his body was falling, his small soul flew out, trying to escape.
Suddenly, his soul froze as it felt an invincible force pulling it toward a particular direction.
Behind Su Ming, a black pagoda had appeared. Just the mere sight of the pagoda made the soul cower in fear.
He tried frantically to escape from the pull, but it was futile.
Ahhhhhhhhh!
His miserable howl came from inside the pagoda as he was dragged in.
Turning his head, Su Ming looked at the dumbfounded old woman with a smile that was no smile.
"P-Please don't kill me," she begged with a trembling voice as she retreated.
What just happened was way beyond what she had ever witnessed in her centuries of life.
Without hesitating, she turned to escape for her dear life, only to realize she could not move.
"I'm doomed!" she screamed in her mind when a powerful strike severed her head from her neck.
Her soul was consumed by the pagoda, leaving no traces behind.
They came to destroy the rebel, but they were destroyed in less than a minute.
Even though the fight might look long, it was less than a minute.
Su Ming looked at their corpses for a moment and conjured fire with his spiritual energy and sent it toward them.
Doing that, he disappeared from his spot without leaving any trace.
As for the bodies of his enemies, they were burnt to ashes.
