Looking at his status, Su Yen was satisfied. He knew the sword soul and aura came from him passing the tribulation.

When he was in the Qi Refinement realm, he could only use a little spiritual energy to augment his attacks. But now, his spiritual energy could manifest out of his body.

Quickly, he tested the power of the Foundation Building realm and the sword aura. He was pleased and smiled continuously.

"This is the reason I can't defeat that stupid ape even with my armor," he thought out loud when he realized how many times he had died at the hands of the ape.

The difference between a Foundation Building realm and a Qi Refinement expert was just too big to be compared. The mere fact that he could use his spiritual essence out of his body was already an overkill.

"What realm is after Foundation Building realm?" he asked curiously.

[Ding!]

[The next three are Core Formation Realm, Golden Core Realm, and Nascent Soul Realm.]

Looking at the rows of words, Su Yen realized he was still a long way from reaching the peak of this world. The slight pride that came from becoming a Foundation Building realm expert evaporated into thin air.

"I need to continue working hard," he thought out loud.

He looked at his half-destroyed courtyard and shook his head. "I need to use stronger materials to build my courtyard."

As he prepared to relax under the tree, he received a call from his Spirit Comms.

"You miss me?" Su Yen said with a sweet voice when he realized it was Huang Yin calling.

"Indeed, I miss my hubby." Huang Yin wasn't as shy as in the beginning.

"Really?! Why don't you come and visit me?"

"That has to wait for now. We have more pressing issues," she responded with a solemn tone.

"Hmm," a slight frown appeared on his face, but he waited for her to continue.

"The Crimson Jade Pavilion has sent their men from the other side of the sea. They are in my city now and they are very powerful."

Su Yen didn't change his expression when he heard this. Various thoughts flashed through his face for a split second.

"What about their ship? Is it at the seashore?" he asked.

"Yes. Why?" she asked, not understanding why he would suddenly ask about their ship out of the blue.

"How many men did they have?"

Huang Yin reported everything about the arrival of the Crimson Jade Pavilion from the other side of the Southern sea to Su Yen without hiding a thing.

"Alright. You don't need to worry about them. I'll deal with them immediately," he responded calmly.

"Are you not scared?" Huang Yin couldn't help but ask.

"In the barren land, your man is scared of nothing. Besides, I've been expecting their arrival," he responded calmly, his voice laced with arrogance.

"Really?" Huang Yin asked with her voice raising an octave.

"Yes."

As Su Yen ended the call with her and was lost on how to deal with the Crimson Jade Pavilion members, he received another call.

"Sect master…" Shu clan patriarch called with panic.

"What happened?" From his voice, Su Yen knew something was amiss.

"Our stores are being attacked, and all our goods are forcibly taken away," he said with a trembling voice.

"Those that attacked your stores, are they from the Crimson Jade Pavilion?" he asked calmly.

"Yes…"

"Don't worry. I will deal with it immediately."

"Thank you, sect master. I will trust you."

After ending the call, more calls came from the various merchants that were in partnership with the Celestial Heavenly Sect, calling in panic.

However, he assured them he would deal with it immediately.

"Since your bait has caught the fish, it's time to withdraw the line," he thought out loud.

He sent his consciousness inside his Spirit Comms and called his elder brother.

"How many of our army men are in the Southern Barren land?" he asked directly.

Su Ming didn't know why Su Yen asked, but he answered immediately.

"We have over two hundred thousand soldiers stationed there, with two thousand elites."

"Good. Some people have undermined our authority. It's time to show the might of our army," Su Yen said with a cold voice.

"Send fifty thousand men to surround Jade city with one thousand elites to deal with the Crimson Jade Pavilion," he commanded in a low voice, but the bone-chilling coldness sent fright down Su Ming's spine.

"I want the leaders of the group back alive if possible," he added after some thought.

In the southern barren land,

inside Jade city, the three branch managers were excited as they looked at the batch of new goods they've confiscated from the other store.

"I knew it! With the arrival of the young master, we will regain what is ours again," Branch Manager Gong muttered excitedly.

When they took over the sales of the Metal Bone Construct and Spirit Comms, he knew how much profit would fall into his pocket.

As for Wang Bingwen, a light smile appeared on his face as he hugged the two twins around him. He pressed their boobs and ass wantonly, not caring if they were in other people's presence.

The twins were used to this type of treatment from him and were enjoying it. They knew how powerful the Wang clan was on the main continent, and using their bodies to get into such a clan was nothing to them compared to the brutality on the continent.

With their successful action of confiscating and closing all the stores in Jade city, they were preparing to recruit more people and lay their hands on other towns and villages.

While they were planning happily, one of the twins asked, "Why didn't we close the ten-story building? I believe it is the center of everything in the city."

At once, the massive room descended into abrupt silence, and the greedy smile on Branch Manager Gong disappeared, replaced with solemnness.

Shaking her head, Wu Bin broke the silence. "You're new here and don't know what that building stands for. That building is the branch hall of the Celestial Heavenly Sect."

"So what?" the twin responded.

"Until we can ascertain whether Elder Bo can handle the Celestial Heavenly Sect, we must not touch them for the time being," Branch Manager Yu said with a solemn tone.

"So are you saying we should be scared of some weak sect? Even on the main continent, no one dares to create a sect. But a nobody dares to create it," Wang Bingwen said arrogantly.

Before the three branch managers could convince them not to touch the Celestial Heavenly Sect branch hall, the land trembled vehemently.

The expression of everyone inside the room changed.

"What is going on?" one of the twins asked.

Before anyone could respond, the door creaked open and a guard rushed in.

"Young master, the city is under attack."

Hearing this, everyone was astounded with their eyes wide open.

Who would dare attack the city? They thought.

The three branch managers exchanged subtle glances and saw the panic on each other's faces.

The Celestial Heavenly Sect had made their move.

Unbeknownst to Wang Bingwen, he shouted arrogantly.

"How dare they?! Where are they, and how many of them are there?" He asked, standing on his feet, ready to rush out of the room.

"Many people have forgotten my Crimson Jade Pavilion is the lord of this region. But I think it is time to let them know."

Before he could rush out of the room, the guard had an unsightly expression on his face and said slowly.

"There are more than fifty thousand soldiers with that strange armor marching toward the city."

Immediately, Wang Bingwen halted in his tracks.
