Chapter 93 : Birth of the Computer Geniuses -- Revival of the Blood Whisperer
Inside the Celestial Heavenly Sect, Su Yen stood before a group of disciples, his ethereal and handsome face marked with a serious expression.
He had recently established an academy dedicated to pushing the world into an information age.
The students under his tutelage ranged from those with exceptional talents to more ordinary disciples.
Among this group, Ai and Aiguo stood out in a distinctive way. Ai, with her striking, almond-shaped eyes and an air of quiet determination, exuded an aura of intelligence and curiosity.
Her midnight-black hair framed her face elegantly, contrasting with the paleness of her skin.
Aiguo, by her side, bore a rugged handsomeness that concealed a sharp intellect beneath his rugged exterior. His intense gaze hinted at a mind always at work.
Su Yen delivered a lecture on the significance of intelligence gathering. Each disciple maintained a serious demeanor, hanging on his every word.
After two hours of intense instruction, Su Yen concluded the lecture, assigning them a critical task.
As Su Yen prepared to leave the hall, Ai and Aiguo, hailing from a modest village in the western barren lands, approached him with a hint of panic in their expressions.
"Sect master…" Ai called out, her voice trembling slightly. Beside her, Aiguo clutched a book close to his side.
Su Yen turned to them with a warm smile, his penetrating eyes taking in their distinct appearances. "Ai and Aiguo, what is it?" he inquired.
Aiguo hesitated, avoiding direct eye contact with the sect master. "You asked us to collect data on the disciples and elders, and we have an idea…"
"Tell me," Su Yen responded, his expression reassuring, "I'm all ears."
The other disciples, impressed by the unique duo, watched Ai and Aiguo with a mix of amazement and confusion, unsure of the nature of their conversation with the sect master. Some, however, couldn't hide their envy and jealousy.
Unbeknownst to Su Yen and the two youths from a small western village, their conversation would set the stage for an unexpected competition at the Intelligence Academy, kindling the flames of curiosity and ambition in the hearts of its students.
Back to Ai and Aiguo:
"Writing down all the data in our books will be too troublesome for further analysis," Ai explained in a hushed voice.
The word "analysis" was relatively new, introduced by Su Yen to the students of the Intelligence Academy. As a result, their conversations often incorporated the term.
"What do you mean by 'analysis'?" Su Yen inquired, piquing his interest.
Aiguo responded, "Sorting and comparing the data would be difficult, as you've taught us. Data is meant to be used for a greater purpose, and one way to utilize it is to sort and compare it, identifying commonalities and differences."
"So, what do you suggest?" Su Yen encouraged, already having an inkling of the genius idea taking shape in the minds of these two young students.
Ai hesitated before speaking. "If we could have some sort of formation to store the data, it would be easier for us to sort and compare it."
The two students looked at Su Yen with a hint of apprehension, fearing their idea might be ridiculed.
Contrary to their expectations, Su Yen's smile deepened. "That's a brilliant idea," he praised.
However, the elation of the two students was short-lived when Su Yen offered a dose of reality. "The idea is good, but we don't have such a type of formation," he said with a bitter expression.
"Ahh!" Ai and Aiguo groaned, their faces full of dejection.
"But," Su Yen reminded them, "remember what I taught you about formations."
"Yes," they said in unison. "With formations and runes, an intelligence agent can hold the world in their hands."
Su Yen pressed further. "And?"
"If there is nothing to gather intelligence, you create it," they continued.
"Good. Do you understand now?" Su Yen inquired, pleased with the sharp minds of the two students.
"Yes," they nodded happily.
"But we don't know how to create such things," Ai confessed.
"If you don't know, find people who do. And if you can't find anyone who knows it, then study and create it yourself," Su Yen lectured.
"We understand," Ai responded, her eyes burning with passion.
"Good. If you need anything for your project, approach any of the elders for support. If they can't help you, come directly to my courtyard and ask," Su Yen encouraged, looking at them kindly.
"And if you succeed, there will be substantial rewards for you," he added, piquing their curiosity.
"Really? What kind of rewards?" Aiguo inquired.
Su Yen responded nonchalantly, "I will make you elite students, granting you access to everything you need in the sect."
With those words, Su Yen departed, leaving the stunned kids.
Meanwhile, the Intelligence Academy was in turmoil as news of their newfound status as elite students spread. Envious glances from their peers and admiration from others fueled their excitement.
As for Su Yen, he had more pressing matters at hand as he journeyed toward the back of the sect.
Meanwhile, the news of citizen registration by the Celestial Heavenly Sect had spread throughout the barren land, leaving everyone puzzled.
They couldn't fathom the intentions of the Celestial Heavenly Sect's master. However, their trust in the sect remained steadfast.
Just then, the various small clans that had submitted to become vassals of the Celestial Heavenly Sect began various construction projects in all cities, towns, and villages. The massive construction took the people by surprise.
Rumors of a new division called the Police began to spread throughout the barren land, causing further confusion and curiosity.
Meanwhile, in the western barren land, inside Willow City, a group of construction workers were dismantling an ordinary building in a secluded corner of the street.
This location had been chosen for the construction of the new Police office, and the workers were focused on their task.
Suddenly, an ordinary man with a hammer walked into the inner chamber of the room. The room was empty and devoid of light.
He glanced around at the empty space and prepared to leave when a drop of blood from his injury fell to the ground.
Whim!
But as the blood hit the floor, an eerie feeling spread throughout the room, and a mysterious symbol appeared on the floor, pulsating with an otherworldly glow.
