Still, when he thought about their marriage certificate, she would never be able to escape from him. Besides, they had many years to come.

“Daddy, you’re home,” Caroline saw him and greeted him immediately, but she looked unhappy.

for the next two days.”

Her mom had called to say that she had something to do and was going on a trip, so she wouldn’t be able to see her for two days.

If her father was good enough to keep her mother around, her mother would definitely not leave.
