"You have nothing else to do, do you?" Theo told Patrick before he hung up the phone.

It was hard to admit, but Patrick's words affected him more than they should.

The thought of Danica and Kris sharing a room right now irked him to his core.

He ruffled his hair in frustration as the idea continued to haunt him.

Theo turned on his phone and looked at the trending media post today about Kris.

He was dressed in casual clothes.

The photograph only showed the side of his face and his back, but his stance and good figure were too striking that fans quickly recognized that it was him.

Fans then swarmed the building the moment they heard the news.

Kris held a bag in his hand, and it looked like he was there to visit someone.

Theo remembered the car accident that Danica was in.

‘Perhaps he was there to visit Danica?’ he thought.

‘But isn't it a bit inappropriate to visit her this late at night?’ Theo's brows furrowed.

‘She's twenty-six years old, and Kris is only twenty.Isn't she worried that people will think that she's into younger men?’

Theo took a deep breath and tried to relax.He took out his phone again and dialed Manuel's number.

They talked for a while, and after he hung up, he went back to the private room and looked at Venice.

"Sorry, something came up at work.I'll be leaving first."

‘I was there for him when they got divorced.I was with him when he got so drunk because of Danica.I tried to seduce him, even stripped off my clothes in front of him.

But even when he was intoxicated with alcohol, he still pushed me away. Venice broke down as the thoughts consumed her.

She recalled how she tried several times.

Venice felt more irritated when she looked at the food in front of her.

She had already lost her appetite the moment Theo left the restaurant.She pushed her seat away, stood up, and walked away with her things.She followed Theo to the car park and waited for his car to leave before she drove away herself.

‘I could accept it if Theo really left for work.But if it was for Danica." Venice's thoughts trailed away.

She gripped the steering wheel harder as she felt more angered by her thoughts.

Danica was stunned by Kris's sudden visit to her apartment.She was in the study room when she heard a knock on the door.

When she opened it, she was surprised to see Kris.

She originally planned on setting up the computer to edit the script just in case Theo wanted some revisions.

But if anyone would ask her, she preferred not to change anything about it.

It took time and effort for any writer to come up with a good script.

It was never an easy task, so it was only natural for a writer to cherish her work, Danica did not expect to see Kris, especially since it was already so late.

She opened the door further and allowed him to come inside.

When he was inside, he turned to Danica with a worried look on his face.

"I heard from Celestie that you were in a car accident, so I rushed here to check up on you.Are you okay?"

Kris scanned Danica with his eyes and tried to see if she was hurt anywhere.

Danica waved her hands in front of Kris and said, "I'm fine.I just scratched my skin."

She chuckled nervously.

He looked at her arm momentarily, then relaxed when he realized that it was only a small injury.He sighed then looked at her again.

"I'm afraid I have some unfortunate news."

Danica's brows furrowed in confusion.

"What's wrong?"

Kris looked away and rubbed his nose as he felt embarrassed.

"Some fans seemed to recognize me when I entered the building.I think they might be blocking downstairs now"

Danica sighed after she heard what Kris said.

‘This will be a big problem” she thought.
