Chapter 131 White Tiger Nation
Chapter 131 White Tiger Nation
Stacey slowed down a little as she thought of what she was about to say next.
In her mind, her family, as well as her background has never been an information that she wanted to hide.
Even when she was working at the mall back then, she also did not deliberately hide her background. It was due to the effect of Carrol's interference that her background has become mysterious in the eyes of the other employees, making them imagine that Stacey was a rich person pretending to be poor.
After thinking for a while, Stacey finally spoke, "Actually, my family is not that great. Currently, our main home is in a D-Grade City from another nation, the White Tiger Nation located on the southern side of the East Continent."
"Another nation? D-Grade City? That impressive?" Roland could not help but exclaim in surprise.
On the Blue-Pink planet, there were a total of 25 states. In terms of landmass, White Tiger Nation was among the top 5 biggest nations on the whole planet. In comparison, Orient Pearl Country's size was only twelfth, and with each descending rank, the size of landmass would also decrease greatly.
As far as Roland knew, White Tiger Nation was located in the southwestern direction from Orient Pearl Country.
"It's alright. Actually, we just recently moved to D-grade City ten years ago. Before that, we were actually at an E-Grade City."
"Well, an E-Grade City is still very impressive. You do know that amongst Orient Pearl Country's six provinces, only Skip Province has a city that was qualified to be an E-Grade City, right?" Roland replied with a chuckle.
Stacey might not think of it as a big deal, but as someone who grew in the lowest grade city, an H-Grade City, Roland did not think the same as her.
As far as Roland knew, each city was graded based on the city's entire wealth as well as the situation of the people in that city.
If for example, in an H-grade City like Fore City, there would people who has an overall asset of 1-9 Million Global Dollars as their assets, then in a G-Grade City like Brine City, there would be people like Martin who has an overall asset of more than 9 Million Global Dollars.
Every increase in grade, the difference in wealth amongst the top people, the living conditions of the poor people would also greatly increase. He even heard that beggars in G-Grade Cities can earn up to 100 Global Dollars a day just by sitting weakly in the street.
To him, even a G-Grade City was already a lot better compared to an H-Grade City like Fore City, much less an E-Grade City that Stacey and her family left ten years ago.
In all of Orient Pearl Country, there was only one E-Grade City, but in White Tiger Nation, there might be even more E-Grade City there than a total number of Orient Pearl's G-Grade City.
"Well, I guess you could put it that way. But in my opinion, there's only a little difference between those grades aside from the fact that those who live in higher grade cities are more rich," Stacey chuckled as well.
Stacey and her family were now in an D-Grade City, that alone would already mean that their entire wealth might be more compared to the total wealth of those 'wealthy' folks in G-Grade Cities.
"You are actually much richer than I initially imagined. Should I just live off of you? I can accept 5,000 Global Dollars a day as starting payment," Roland joked. Stacey's background was actually more impressive than he initially thought. And to think that he even tried to overestimate her background to avoid getting 'face-slapped', who would have thought that the result actually remained the same?
Stacey laughed hearing Roland's ridiculous proposal. As far as she knew, Roland, and his hidden family was probably more wealthy than her entire family. They could even let Roland spend as much as he wants without batting an eye-lid. The private island alone was testament to their wealth and influence.
"Sure, sure we can do that," Stacey replied with a chuckle.
"By the way, I heard that White Tiger Nation has a C-Grade City, is that true? And have you been there?" Roland posed another question that he has been curious about since the time he learned of cities being separated by grades.
Stacey nodded her head, "Yes, I heard that there was indeed a C-Grade City in White Tiger Nation. However, I have never been there. And according to my father, C-Grade Cities and above are actually restricted cities. One could not easily enter if they don't have the permission from the higher ups."
Stacey paused for a moment before continuing, "Actually, there was some hearsy about those cities. It was said that those cities actually contain major secrets that the higher ups are not willing to inform the public."
She lowered her voice and said, "In my opinion though, I think this hearsay is actually real. And the secrets that they are trying to hideā¦ it might involve something terrifying that we, the public, should not know."
Stacey said with all seriousness. Of course, she did not say that most of the 'hearsay' that she just spoked were just actually her own speculations.
Roland went silent after hearing that information.
The reason why he was curious about C-Grade Cities was actually because of the fact that he had not heard of any 'real' C-Grade Cities before.
As they say, humans were born as curious creatures.
C-Grade Cities information was very rare to the point that some only considered C-Grade Cities as myths and legends and that the highest grades that the government had issued were just D-Grade Cities.
Hearing the 'hearsays' that Stacey just mentioned, Roland could not help but think of his own speculations during these days as well.
'Could it be that C-Grade Cities and above are home to extraordinary people?'
