Chapter 209 Getting Sent In Space?

Chapter 209  Getting Sent In Space?

The Universe as your furnace, stars as your weapon, plants your meridian, cultivate the ultimate secret and control Heaven as if it is your own.

The moment Roland read those lines inside his own consciousness, something seemed to have exploded inside of him at the same time.

The next moment, multiple lights flashed across 'him' in extreme speed, at the same time, he felt that 'he' was being pulled up at extreme speed. When the pulling force disappeared, Roland realized that he was no longer inside his room.

In the blink of an eye, Roland seemed to have arrived in… outer space?

Roland hurriedly looked around in panic. The brilliant stars all around him illuminated this seemingly dark space. As he looked around in panic, at the distance, Roland saw something extremely shocking.

A humongous silhouette of a man sitting in a meditative position, was holding an entire galaxy on its palm.

Just as Roland was about to look up to try and discern the silhouette's face, brilliant lights flashed across him once more, this time, his 'body' seemed to have been dragged down by an unstoppable force.

The next moment, Roland realized that he was once again inside his 'consciousness'. The book was still there, rotating peacefully as if nothing in particular had happened.

However, the turmoil in Roland's mind could not be any truer. The next moment, Roland abruptly woke up, opening his eyes in the real world.

He sat up and looked around in panic, his heart beating like crazy. It was like someone was beating a drum inside his heart at this moment, the heartbeats were so intense that Roland felt as if his heart was about to rush out of his throat.

Due to his actions, Stacey was woken up again. She also sat up in panic, seeing Roland full of sweat and gasping for breath.

She immediately caressed Roland's back and asked, "What happened? Another bad dream?"

Her tone was full of worry. With her worried face, it even looked like she was the one who just experienced a 'nightmare'.

Hearing her soft and worried voice, Roland finally came to his senses.

He released a very deep sigh, wiped the sweats on his forehead and turned to hug Stacey.

The sudden events shocked Roland to the core. It was the first time he experienced something as magical as that.

Getting sent out to outer space was already shocking enough, how much more that humongous figure holding an entire galaxy in its palm?

'No, it can't be…' Roland thought to himself as he realized something.

The System would not do something dangerous to him. At that time, he felt that it was his body that was pulled up by that force. However, was it really?

Roland thought for a bit and arrived at a conclusion, 'Was it just my consciousness?'

'Was it truly in outer space, or a different location…' he thought and pondered.

"Here, drink some water first," Stacey suddenly said, handing him a glass of water.

Roland did not reject her offer and drank the whole glass of water in one fell swoop.

He heaved another sigh, as he softly dragged Stacey to the bed. She was quite worried earlier. It was only after a few minutes of persuasion that she finally calmed down as well.

After leading Stacey to sleep once again, Roland began to ponder about what happened earlier.

After some hesitation, he closed his eyes once again and fell into a deep thought, accessing the book, Universal Cultivation method once more.

Roland did not believe that the System would do him any harm. He knew that there was a particular reason why that happened earlier. However, everything was so sudden, so he did not manage to think of any reason for something like that to occur.

However, knowing that what happened was due to him reading the first sentence of the cultivation method, he thought that the answer should also be there, right?

With that being said, Roland's consciousness finally arrived at that space again.

Staring at the rotating book, Roland stopped the hesitation and finally 'thought' of flipping the cover once more.

The same sentence greeted him once more. He did not hesitate and read it again, this time, he was already expecting to be pulled upwards once again.

However, after a few seconds of waiting, Roland realized that he was still in front of the rotating book.

'Strange,' he thought to himself.

After waiting for a few minutes without anything happening to him, Roland finally decided to read the following sentences.

Just like the first sentence, the following ones were vague and sound grand as well. Basically, it talked about how great this cultivation was and how powerful one would become if they used this cultivation method from the beginning.

'Cultivation isn't the beginning nor the end. Cultivation has no beginning nor an end.

'It is both endless and finite.'

'It can be strong or weak.'

'Grasping an entire galaxy in your palm might be just the start, or the end of a long arduous journey.'

'How powerful you will become, only time can tell.'

Roland read the last sentence on the second page with a blank look.

After reading the whole page, Roland seemed to have finally understood the reason for the sudden scene earlier.

'Was it liking a demonstration? Is the System showing me that using this cultivation method, I could also be like that silhouette in the future? Holding an entire galaxy in one hand…' Roland thought.

Although it may seem far-fetched for the current him, who knows what will happen in the future?

Anyways, these were all just his speculations as well. With the System staying silent, there was no way for Roland to confirm whether his speculation was the truth or not.

Roland shook his head to get rid of such thoughts. Right now, let alone holding a galaxy, he could not even lift a whole building yet. Those levels of strength and abilities were still very far from him. So instead of worrying about them as well as that scene, Roland decided to ignore them for now and focus on what was on his plate.
