Chapter 236 Confirmation

Carrol was already done eating when Roland asked the question. Wiping the soda on her lips after drinking the soda, she finally started to answer Roland's question.
"I'm not sure about it either. I have never visited other parts of Orient Pearl Country, aside from the few places that Stacey had been to, but I can definitely confirm that none of those places has even a minute amount of Heavenly Energy at all, just like the situation here in Fore City."
"As for the White Tiger Nation… Heavenly Energy does indeed exist everywhere there. However, the amount of Heavenly Energy varies from place to place as well. It doesn't mean that although the place has Heavenly Energy, it is already a suitable place for cultivation."
"Only places rich in Heavenly Energy are really suitable for cultivation, you cannot just cultivate anywhere and wherever you like. And such places are rare even in White Tiger Nation."
Hearing that, Roland could not help but frown as he pondered. It seems that cultivating was really a hard profession. Searching for Heavenly Energy was already this hard, how much more the actual cultivation itself.
"Well, I don't know why you're asking this kind of basic and general information, but if you want to find a suitable place for cultivation, I think I can help you with it." Carrol suddenly said.
Hearing that, Roland did not hesitate and immediately nodded his head, "Alright, you have my thanks for that. And what do you want in return?"
This was a very important thing for Roland. Being able to cultivate means that he can grow stronger aside from buying the super expensive potion in the System shop. With such a strong physique, being able to cultivate could be said to be like adding wings to an already fierce tiger.
Hence, Roland was already mentally prepared that no matter what Carrol terms are, he must definitely agree.
However, what Carrol said next delighted Roland.
She waved her hands as she shook her head, "Don't mention it. The only request I have is to please, please protect our Stacey with all your strength and please, do not ever break her heart."
Roland merely smiled as he replied without hesitation, "Of course, that's a given already."
With that, the relieved Carrol finally explained how she will help Roland regarding the cultivation place. She said that she will settle the matter as soon as possible, and if no problems come up, Roland might be able to access the place in a week or two.
According to her, it was a private place owned by Stacey's father. It was a place rich in Heavenly Energy and was used by the cultivators of their family. Now, only those who just started their cultivation journey usually use the place.
Those on Carrol's level, cultivating normally would be as slow as snail, and unless they obtained a precious resource or an opportunity, getting stronger and breaking through was as hard as finding a needle in a haystack.
In this regard, Roland was very lucky. As long as he has the right amount of face-slapping points, he could actually grow stronger without any bottleneck. Unfortunately, face-slapping points were hard to earn and even harder to save up.
After talking with Carrol and finalizing the plan, she finally left the Sparkling Buds with the excuse that she still has some work to do.
However, Roland already knew that she would just laze around the perimeter around Stacey. With that being said, Roland did not call her out about it. Even without her around, Roland was confident that Stacey's safety was guaranteed with One always being on her side, how much more that he was also in the building right now.
After Carrol left the area, One reported the status of the 'spies' as well as his initial investigations about their identity. There were now five of them in total and five of them acted in cohort as they investigated the Sparkling Buds.
According to One's information, the 'five of them were people who had always lived in Fore City. They were also sighted in some voluntary works such as feeding programs led by Councilor Brown during his campaign period from the previous election.

After One left, Roland went back to Stacey's office and informed her of his plan on visiting White Tiger Nation.
"Really? That's great! Tell me when you'll go. I'll go with you so that you can visit my parent's while we are at it," she said enthusiastically.
"Sure, no problem with me at all!" He replied as he gave her a sweet kiss.
Roland has no problem about meeting her parents at all. Firstly, Carrol said that Stacey's father was the owner of the cultivation place. So even if Stacey did mention it, Roland would still have to meet them regardless.
As for the thought of Stacey's parent's being opposed to their relationship, Roland did not think that it was really a problem at all.
Carrol had always been on Stacey's side. As her bodyguard, it would be unusual if she did not report their relationship to Stacey's parents at all. And if they were opposed to their relationship, Carrol should have long informed Stacey, or him about it directly.
After chatting with Stacey a bit, Roland realized that it was already noon. Since he was already hungry, he decided to cook their lunch this time as well.
As he was not pressed on time like the last time, he decided to cook a lot so that the store crew could eat as well. Treating them to good food would be a good reward for their hard work.
Thirty minutes later, he was finally done with the food. It just so happened that the some of the crew started to lunch break as well so Roland immediately told them to help themselves as he brought food for Stacey and Janine who was already waiting inside Stacey's office.
When he went inside, he saw that the two women were laughing together. The harmonious laughter of the two of them were like plague that infected him, making him smile as he served them their food.
