Chapter 94 Brine Dock Site
Chapter 94 Brine Dock Site
The salty smell of the sea assaulted Roland's nose.
In front of him was the entrance to the Brine Dock Site.
Rows of boats, big and small were docked on sea not far from them.
As the biggest dock site of Pearl Province, the Brine Dock Site truly did not disappoint.
Huge cargo ships were seen everywhere while fishing boats docked themselves on the ramps to unload their catch.
Roland scanned the area in search of the Divine Destiny Yacht.
He was not afraid of the System boycotting him. When it says that the yacht would arrive in two days, it would arrive in two days.
With Martin behind them, Roland and Stacey finally entered the dock site.
The security guard only nodded at them before looking away, seemingly uninterested in interacting with them.
"Brother Roland, what exactly are we doing here? Are you guys on your way to fish? If so, I can have my men arrange some boats for you to rent and use," Martin suddenly said after seeing that Roland kept on looking around, as if in search of something.
Earlier, Roland and Martin had already agreed to call each other a brother. Due to this, their payment on the QP Hotel was waived off, and Martin even promised that from now onwards, they no longer have to pay for staying in his QP Hotel.
Roland knew that he was only this generous because of Stacey's WPB card, however, he could feel Martin's sincerity on trying to befriend them, and with the extra benefits that he promised, Roland thought that it was better to accept it.
"You might not know this brother Roland, but I also own a lot of fishing boats here as my side business. If you want, I can even introduce you guys to one of my most reliable captains and let them man the helm for you," he boasted with a straight face.
"Don't worry about it, we actually already have our own boat." Roland smiled and replied calmly.
Stacey's hand was hooked on his arm as the two of them walked around to search for the Divine Destiny.
The Brine Dock was huge. And with the towering cargo ships, it was very hard for them to search for the Divine Destiny.
'They already have a boat? Could it be that they have already rented from another company?' Martin thought.
"Well, then so be it. So, where is your boat located? These supplies that I am carrying are a little heavy, you know," a wry smile appeared on Martin's face as he said.
"That's the thing. I also don't know where it was docked. All I know is that it's now in the Brine Dock site."
Martin thought for a moment before asking, "The Brine Dock is divided into two parts. One part docks the big ships such as cargos and the like, while the other part was where the fishing boats usually landed to unload their fishing gains. The current area that we are in right now is the cargo area."
"Brother Roland, how big of a ship have you rented?"
"Hmm, it's not that big. At least, it's not as big as this cargo's so we might need to go to the other side and check there. And oh by the way, I did not rent that boat, I bought it," Roland said as he began to turn around to go to the fishing boats area.
On the other hand, hearing that, Martin was a little dumbfounded. As a businessman, he could not understand Roland's way of thinking.
From what he knew, the Brine Dock Site has no shipyard. All ships and boats that were docked in here were made from somewhere else. And according to his sources, and the circle of friends that ran this dock site, there seems to be no boat that has been for sale lately?
What Roland said puzzled him to the core. Nevertheless, he knew that he would be able to fathom the bigshot's thoughts, so he just decided to follow behind them obediently.
Before they could take a few steps, Roland suddenly remembered something.
"Oh yeah, you have a lot of men in here, right? Can you ask them if they have seen any new boats here recently?"
"Oh, I did not think of that. Wait a moment, brother," Martin said as he slapped his forehead lightly.
He took his phone and dialed a saved number, "Hello? Denis? Where are you?"
"Hello, Boss. I am on the dock site right now? Do you need something?" A boorish man's voice resounded from the phone's loudspeaker.
"Denis, I'm at the dock site right now. Come meet me near the entrance, I have some things to ask from you." Martin said before hanging up the phone.
A few minutes later, Denis arrived in front of the group.
He was a dark and muscular man. He was wearing a shirt with its sleeve rolled up to his shoulder. Even from afar, Roland was already able to smell the scent of fish coming off from him.
"Boss!" Denis yelled upon seeing Martin.
"Stop shouting, I'm literally right in front of you," Martin said as he handed the bag of supplies to him.
Finally, his shoulder could finally relax.
? Denis lifted the bag of supplies easily, showing off his strength.
"Boss, what do you need?" Denis' rough voice resounded right in Martin's ears.
"I just want to ask some questions. By the way, this is my brother, Roland and this is his woman, Stacey. Treat them like how you treat me, understand?" Martin said while patting Denis' muscular arms.
"Yes, boss!" Denis nodded his head.
"Well back to the topic. Have you seen any new boats in the dock site recently? My brother here bought a new boat, and we were trying to search for it to no avail. Perhaps, you know something?"
Denis thought for a moment before recalling a chaotic scene earlier.
"Boss, as far as I know there have been no new boats recently. However, earlier, at the far side of the cargo area, there is a huge and big yacht that has been docked. It even attracted a commotion earlier. Many people went there to take a picture of the yacht."
"A yacht? How could a yacht be docked there? Don't they know that the yacht is usually docked around the fishing boats area?" Martin frowned upon hearing Denis' story.
In fact, there was actually some yacht docked in Brine Dock as well. However, they were of a smaller scale and were cheaply made and they were usually docked in the fishing boats area so Martin thought docking the yacht in the cargo area was very excessive.
It was as excessive as motorcycles getting parked in the car park area.
"Forget it. Was there truly no new boats?" He asked Denis, in which the latter shook his head, implying that it was indeed the case.
"That's bothersome, could it be that you were scammed, brother Roland? Where did you buy that boat brother Roland? Let me see if I know the owner," Martin turned around towards Roland with a worried as well as enraged expression.
Seeing that, Roland merely shook his head with a smile before saying, "Don't worry about it anymore. The yacht that Denis was talking about should be the yacht that I bought."
