Jalen was silent for a long time. Just when Elaina felt that he was going to be angry again, Jalen said, “I will take you to the birthday banquet tomorrow.”
“No need.”

Even our habits are different. We can’t find any common topics.”
Jalen was silent.
“You should think about it carefully. Maybe you don’t like me but want to possess me. I have never been good to you, so you want to conquer me.” Elaina thought that this might be the explanation. As soon as Elaina finished speaking, she saw Jalen pick up a skewer and bite the bullet to eat it.
