Elaina was the calmest person in the little group. She drank the soup as if she did not hear what the others said.
With one bowl of hot soup in her stomach, Elaina took the bowl before Theodore and poured some soup for him. “Theodore, the soup tastes good.”
“Thanks.” Theodore took the bowl of soup that Elaina handed over. He got the hint from Elaina.
Jalen looked at Elaina and waited for her to serve him one bowl of soup.

After dinner, Jalen could not find another excuse to stay here. “Do you want to go back to Kemp Apartment? I’ll give you a ride.”

“Okay.” Jalen nodded and then left Theodore’s villa.
After Jalen left, Elaina turned to look at Theodore with a frown. “Theodore, you didn’t have to talk so much with him.”
“Ella, I was worried that you…”
“He is my ex-husband, and that’s all,” Elaina said sternly.
Even so, Theodore was still worried. “Is that so? Don’t you like him?”
Elaina furrowed her brows more tightly. I feel Theodore has become weird after my divorce, Elaina thought.
“I’m just worried about you. I’m afraid that there will be dangers if you get entangled with Jalen again,” Theodore explained.
Elaina collected her thoughts and looked at Theodore. “Don’t worry, Theodore. I know what to do. Besides, never have I thought of getting entangled with Jalen.”
Elaina thought, Jalen helped me several times, but that can’t make me love him, not to mention the restoration of our marriage.
“Okay. Great that you know what to do.” Theodore didn’t pursue this topic. He was afraid that Elaina would be displeased if he continued.
Elaina nodded and then said in a gentle tone, “Then, goodbye.”
Theodore said, “Let me drive you home.”
“No, thanks. It’s convenient to hail a taxi at the door. Theodore, you shouldn’t drive because you drank wine.” Speaking, Elaina walked to the door.
Elaina soon disappeared from the villa. The expression on Theodore’s face also changed subtly.
Andrew observed Theodore all the time. He asked curiously after Elaina left, “Theodore, Jalen did something bad in the past, but he didn’t know Ella then. Now, he may like Ella.”

“If Jalen likes Ella now, that means he covets her beauty. He regrets his decision because Ella is very beautiful,” Theodore said with contempt in his eyes.
Andrew didn’t think that Jalen was that kind of person. There are many beautiful women around Jalen, Andrew thought.
However, Andrew did not argue with Theodore again. He didn’t want an argument with Theodore over an unfamiliar acquaintance.
Elaina arrived at Kemp Apartment and found Jalen’s car there. She walked over and saw Jalen.
“Why are you here?” Elaina thought that Jalen had returned to the Halton’s Residence.
“I’m waiting for Graham to bring me the key. I want to stay here for one night. Don’t worry. I will leave tomorrow.” Jalen left the key to Graham when he had moved to the
Halton’s Residence. Therefore, Jalen did not have the key when he decided to spend the night here on a whim.
Elaina frowned and asked, “Why don’t you go back to the Halton’s Residence?”
