At the police station, when Elaina arrived, Sergio was in the interrogation room. She stood at the door and did not go in.

“There is no one behind me. Everything is under my control. Including the others, I asked them to do that for me. It has nothing to do with them,” Lucian said calmly, as if he was not afraid to go to jail.

Sergio was almost angered to death. He had never seen such a stubborn person.

He got up and walked out of the interrogation room. When he saw Elaina standing outside, he said to her, “Did you hear that? This person refused to tell the truth. I’m afraid we can’t get anything from him.”

The higher-ups urged him. In addition, the media focused on this case. Although Sergio wanted to continue investigating, Lucian refused to tell the truth and admitted that he was the mastermind.

Sergio could not persuade the higher-ups to continue investigating.

“Can I go in and talk to him?” Elaina asked.
