In Lenox Villa, as soon as Elaina and the others arrived at the door, a bodyguard came forward and said, “Are you Ms. Gainsford?”

“Where is Quincy?” Elaina looked sullen. She only wanted to know how Jenica was now.

“Mr. Krause is waiting for you inside,” the bodyguard replied. He was ready to lead Elaina to the

villa.

Elaina raised her eyebrows. It seemed that Quincy had known that she would come.

Elaina did not refuse and followed the bodyguard into the villa. She did not know if it was because Quincy was very confident that he even let Theodore and the others in.

The group of people was vast and there were about twenty of them. They looked unfriendly.

In the living room of the villa, Quincy was drinking tea. When he saw Elaina walking in and the large group of people behind her, he didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Quincy said, “Why do you bring so many people with you? After all, Jalen and I are friends. And you are Jalen’s woman. We don’t

have to be like this.”

care about the relationship between you and Jalen. I came here today to take Jenica away. Where is

she?”

“You don’t need to intervene in the matter between me and Jenica, do you?” Quincy smiled, but his

smile was a little unfriendly.

“If you are a normal couple, of course, I won’t intervene in the matter between you. But are you? Is

Jenica your girlfriend?” Elaina looked at Quincy and asked harshly.

Jenica had told Elaina before that Quincy was unwilling to admit their relationship, which meant

that they had nothing to do with each other until now.

Jalen walked to Elaina and said softly, “Sorry, I’m not…”

“Mr. Halton, you don’t have to apologize. Quincy is your friend, so there is nothing wrong with you

helping him.” Elaina put on a cold expression and did not even look at Jalen.

When Jalen heard Elaina call him “Mr. Halton”, he knew that Elaina became distant to him again

though they had just become close, Because of this, he began to look at Quincy with anger in his

eyes.

Jalen thought he and Elaina wouldn’t be like this if not for Quincy.

As if knowing what was in Jalen’s mind, Quincy took the initiative to speak, “Ms. Gainsford, why are you venting your anger on Jalen? It has nothing to do with him.”

“Where is Jenica?” Elaina’s tone was cold. Obviously, she had lost her patience.”

“She is mine. Why should I hand her over to you?” Quincy looked at Elaina. Even if Jalen was there,

Quincy had no intention of letting Jenica leave.

“Let me ask again. Where is Jenica?” Elaina clenched her fists and asked with a sullen face.

The atmosphere instantly became very tense. The two groups of people looked at each other, neither of them giving in. Jalen, who was standing next to them, didn’t know what to do.

“Let her go,” Jalen looked at Quincy and said, “that’s enough. What’s the point of you trapping her here?”

Elaina heaved a sigh of relief, thinking that Quincy would let Jenica go since Jalen had said so.
