“Tomorrow. I have got everything ready,” Theodore replied with a smile.

Elaina frowned. “Tomorrow? Why are you in such a hurry?”

“I’ve prepared for a long time.”

Theodore continued, “Come on! I just feel that my business doesn’t develop well

overseas. I want to do something to make my

company prosper.”

“Oh.” Elaina didn’t buy Theodore’s words.

“Ella, if you need help during my absence, go to Andrew. He can help you now,”

Theodore said. He was still worried about Elaina.

Elaina nodded with sadness. “Theodore, if you are worried about me, stay. I

need your protection.”

Theodore said nothing but smiled. He made himself clear.

Stay? How can I get over you if I see you every day? Theodore thought.

Elaina pursed her lips and did not say anything else. She knew that Theodore

had made up his mind.

“I have an operation tomorrow, so I won’t see you off,” Elaina said. She felt it

was difficult to say goodbye to Theodore at the airport.

It seemed that they had never parted with each other from little.

This speech shocked Theodore, but he didn’t insist. “Alright, work comes first. I

am not a three-year-old kid. I don’t need you to see me

off.”

Elaina didn’t stay any longer because the stay deepened her sadness.

After Elaina left, Andrew complained, “You want Ella to see you off. Why weren’t

you honest?”

“She’s upset. I know that.” How can I sadden her? Theodore thought.

“I don’t know why the three of us became so.” Andrew shook his head and

sighed.

“It’s my fault.” Theodore smiled bitterly. A lot of things would not happen if I

controlled my feelings. Theodore thought.

Andrew opened his mouth to say that he did not blame Theodore. However, he

swallowed his words at the sight of the distressed

Theodore.

Just give them some time. Andrew thought.

The next day, Elaina took leave and did not go to work.

She woke up early in the morning. Elaina held her phone, and there was

Theodore’s flight information from Andrew. Andrew did not

tell Elaina to see Theodore off at the airport. He just sent Elaina the flight

information and let her make the final decision.

There were still two hours to go before the plane took off. Theodore was ready

to go to the airport, but Elaina had not made up her mind yet.

When Elaina was in a struggle, her doorbell rang. She knew who the visitor novelbin

was.

Elaina opened the door. She was not surprised to see Jalen outside the door.

“I bought breakfast for you. Do you like some?” Speaking, Jalen walked into the

house with breakfast. He could tell that Elaina was in a bad mood. He also knew

that Elaina felt sad because of Theodore’s departure.

What Theodore had done in his company recently attracted a lot of attention, so

many people knew about his temporary departure.

Jalen felt good about Theodore’s departure. This departure gives both Theodore

and Elaina some time. Most importantly, Theodore won’t disturb Elaina and me

during this period. Jalen thought.

This thought was selfish, so Jalen would not share it with Elaina.

“Enjoy yourself. I don’t have any appetite.” Speaking, Elaina walked back to the

sofa and huddled up in the corner.

Jalen walked over and pulled Elaina up from the sofa. “Theodore is leaving, but

is it a big deal?”

“You don’t understand.” Elaina didn’t want to talk to Jalen.

“I don’t understand the relationship between you two. However, I know that

Theodore just leaves for the time being. He won’t disappear forever. Do you

have to make it a separation between life and death?” Jalen tried to make the

case serious to wake Elaina
