After sending Kent to the hotel, Elaina suddenly thought of Corey and Lilly on

the way back. She could not help but ask Jalen, “I have asked you to look for a

proper adopted family. Is there any news?”

“Yes. I have found one, but I haven’t contacted them yet,” Jalen replied. He

wanted to finish the task that Elaina had assigned to him

perfectly.

Elaina breathed a sigh of relief. She had been busy these days and had no time

to take care of Corey and Lilly. Thus, she sent them to Peach Village and asked

the villagers to look after them.

“Don’t be so hostile to me. I am here to help you.” Alisha’s kind voice came from

the other side of the line, but Sue did not appreciate

want to talk to Alisha at all.

Alisha was not angry. She smiled, “Aren’t you feeling uncomfortable because

Theodore left? You know clearly that Elaina had done it. Don’t you want to teach

her a lesson?”

Alisha’s words happened to speak out Sue’s thoughts. Sue wanted to find a

chance to teach Elaina a lesson, but she didn’t know what

to do and was angry.

“Go out. Let’s have a drink together.” Alisha hung up the phone and sent Sue a

bar address.

Sue looked at the address on the screen and hesitated.

She was not stupid. She knew that Alisha was going to use her to deal with

Elaina. But on second thought, it seemed that she didn’t have to suffer any loss.

Anyway, they both hated Elaina. It didn’t matter if she went to see Alisha. Maybe

Alisha would think of a good way to make Elaina

suffer.

Sue made a decision in her heart. She quickly changed her clothes and left

Krause’s place.

On Monday, Elaina woke up early. To her, today was destined to be another

busy day.

Jalen rang her doorbell as usual and delivered breakfast to her. “If you continue

look busy at all.”

“If it really goes bankrupt, Dr. Gainsford, will you support me?” Jalen asked with

“No way. Dr. Gainsford, you are so kind. Can you bear to see me starve to death

on the streets?” Jalen walked to her and looked at her

Elaina had her breakfast and said slowly, “Don’t worry, Mr. Halton. With your novelbin

looks, if you go bankrupt, a lot of rich women will support

you. You won’t starve to death.”
