Just as the three of them were in a stalemate, Graham picked up a phone and walked over. “The customer arrived immediately.”
Jalen nodded and looked at Elaina. “You go back first.”
He did not continue to ask. His gaze swept across Jaydon, and he did not say a word to him.
“Send her back.” Jalen turned around to speak to Graham and then walked to the restaurant.
Elaina knew that Graham met a client with Jalen, so she said, “Graham, I can take a taxi back myself. You can go with
Jalen.”
“I’ll send you back, Ms. Gainsford. Otherwise, Mr. Halton won’t be at ease.” Graham smiled helplessly. He thought, if I don’t personally send you back, Jalen will not let me go.
Seeing that, Elaina nodded. Then she looked at Jaydon. Just as she was about to say something, she heard Jaydon’s voice, “Then be careful on your way home. Remember to send me a message when you get home.”
