Elaina did not know if it was her illusion, but she felt that Jalen looked at her differently from before.

“No, thanks. I still have the money for a meal,” Elaina chuckled with her chin in one of her hands.

She didn’t like Jalen, and she even hated him. She felt that she would have no appetite if she sat with h im for a meal.
