Chapter 153 - Poor Him

Chapter 153 - Poor Him

"You should’ve given it to me you little bastard" Micahel angrily said, as he pulled on both cheeks of the rabbit in front of him.

"Aro..dan!"

Bzzzt!!!

"Ahh!" Michael screamed as he was suddenly zapped by lightning.

"Geez, this rabbit is so weird. It can freely attack us, does no damage but its crowd control effects would still be applied to us" Harrison laughed helplessly, as he was once also a victim of the little bully.

"What do mean he’s weird? Isn’t he a little cutie?" Casey crouched down in front of the Dual Horned Elemental Rabbit, and started rubbing its cheek affectionately, while the rabbit in question felt like it was flying to the heavens above while being caressed by the beautiful lady in front of him.

"Little pervert" Harrison mumbled angrily when he saw that the rabbit is enjoying its time being rubbed by Casey. It was because he had the imagination that the rabbit is staring at him with a snicker on its face, like it was trying to say, ’You jealous?’

"So what did he ate just now?" Casey said as she picked up the rabbit in her arms.

Emma and the others looked at him which made Michael rubbed his temples, "Ughh..it freaking ate a fragment of an Evolution Crystal"

"Evolution Crystal? What is it used for?" Emma asked even though she already had an idea about it, but she still wanted to make sure of what’s its used for just in case she was mistaken.

Even the others are curious of it as they looked at Michael, waiting for his answer.

"Just as its name, it’s a piece fragment of an evolution crystal. Collect five of them, then you have a completed Evolution Crystal which you’d need to further evolve your beast pet or beast mount once they reach a limit" Michael told them exactly from what he had learned from his time of browsing the books back in Starlight City.

"Really!?" Harrison and Tina said at the same time, even Emma was shocked a bit as she looked at the rabbit in Emma’s arms with glittering eyes which made the rabbit shiver in fear.

"Then why did he ate it?" Emma said as she lifted the rabbit in front of her.

Michael just shrugged his shoulders as he really didn’t know the reason behind it, and it’s not like he could even understand what the rabbit is saying to them.

’I should ask teacher after this’

"Come on, let’s continue with the hunt! If we see any cubs, hatchlings or chicks, please give it to me, okay?" Harrison said, as he looked at everyone of them with hopeful eyes.

"Okay" Emma said.

"No problem" Tina replied.

"Well, you should start praying then" Emma said as she continued to play around with the rabbit.

Michael walked over to him and patted one of his shoulders, as he noticed that Harrison has a thing towards Emma a long time ago.

"I’m so jealous of that rabbit" Harrison whispered helplessly.

"I know"

The edge of Michael’s lips twitched as he really couldn’t understand this guy sometimes.

’The heck are you getting jealous of the rabbit for?’

After that small episode, the team continued grinding.

"Shit, two monsters are heading towards us," Harrison said when he suddenly spotted two large size bees with oversized stingers, and both of them are around three feet and currently charging towards them.

[Raptor Bee]

Lvl: 29

Swoosh!

"I’ll take on the other one, I’ll leave the other one to you guys" Michael said, before he quickly dashed towards the charging monsters with agile steps.

"Wait! Dammit!" Emma yelled angrily behind Michael.

"This guy never listens and always does what he wants," Emma said angrily, as she stomped her feet on the ground.

Buzz~!

Michael shot the other Raptor Bee with the arrow from his hidden crossbow, successfully taking its aggro towards him while the other one just ignored him as it still dashed towards the direction of the others, but more likely towards Harrison who had just activated his taunting skills.

"Whoa, its fast" Michael mumbled as he made a quick dodge to the side, while at the same time his hand went for the sword on his back.

"Press Impact!" Michael’s cried, as his sword turned into a streak of light and struck the Bee Raptor and sending it slamming towards a tree.

*Slash*

’Oh? It actually has a pretty low defense’ Michael thought.

The Raptor Bees are actually pretty impressive monsters because they are very agile and speedy like an assassin, which allows them to attack faster than any other flying monsters, but the only downside is that they have a very low health and defense, making them an easy prey for anyone faster than them or knows their attack patterns.

But their speed is only a bit better than the current player base of Hunters and Assassins.

Sadly, it just had to bumped into Michael who’s combination of speed, reflexes and fighting style is absolutely abnormal even among the other experts of the game.

The Raptor Bee shook its head from the impact before its eyes immediately locked onto Michael and charge towards him with anger, as its stinger shone with cold light.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

"This dude sure is fast" Michael said, as he continued to parry the incoming attacks of the Raptor Bee, whose stinger continuously struck towards his head.

"Dance of Death!" Micheal cried.

Michael jump back as his silhouette suddenly blurred, leaving after images before emerging at the left side of the Raptor Bee in the next second.

Michael swung his sword, as three sword shadows struck the Raptor Bee consecutively.

"Holy shit, this guy...just what the heck is he? Is he some kind of a martial artist outside of the game" Harrison exclaimed when he saw that Michael wasn’t even having a hard time fighting the Raptor Bee compared to them who’s having a bit of difficulty facing it, especially him as he is having a hard time locking down the monster because of its speed.

"Dunno, ask him" Tina unconsciously answered him, as she struck the other Raptor Bee in front of them with her arrows.

"Furious Charge!"

Michael’s attacks was followed by a wild rush, as Michael slammed his body towards the Raptor Bee, sending it tumbling to the ground.

"Arodan!"

Crackle! Bzzzt!

A sudden black bolt of lightning suddenly blasted from behind Michael and struck the monster, incapacitating it for a few seconds and Michael quickly took this chance to land the killing blow.

"Arodan!"

"F*ck off!"

Michael immediately held down the rabbit on the ground and yelled at his companions, "Quick! Get over here!"

Emma and the others immediately hurried over when they heard him, as they were also just done from their side.

"What is it?" Tina said as she was the first one to arrive.

"Quick! Loot the items on the ground" Michael hurriedly said, as the little punk under him continued to squirm around, trying to escape from its hold.

"Arodan!"

Tina and the others hurriedly picked up the items from the ground, as they already had a gist of what’s going on.

Splash!

"Huh?"

"Aro~dan!!!"

"AHHHHHH!"

"Ohh~ that...that’s gonna hurt like hell"

Harrison winced in horror when he saw the scene in front of him.

"Couldn’t he have just unsummoned his pet?" Emma said while looking at Michael, who’s twitching on the ground with smoke coming out of his body.

"Exactly"

Casey said, and the rest nodded in agreement.

’I, who was once feared in the underground world is now reduced to this. Done in...by a freaking rabbit’

’Such is the fate of the fallen’

Michael just sighed helplessly on the ground, as he waited for the paralyzing effect to wear off.

"Aro~!"

The rabbit snorted in haughtiness while it slowly stood up from the ground and looked down on Michael.

’Little bastard!’

Michael gritted his teeth in anger, as he felt that he’s slowly becoming an idiot every time that the little bastard is around him.

"Did you guys got all of it?" Michael asked while still lying on the ground.

"We did, don’t worry," Tina said.

"Good"

Michael gave them a thumbs up with a trembling hand before it helplessly fell on the ground.

"Poor him, I hope he won’t get traumatized like Rick did"

They just shook their heads while they waited for Michael to get up.
