Chapter 146: Chimera Cursed Seal (5)

"Maybe your Ninken died?" Orochimaru's amused hum fills the empty room as Tsume's body stiffens. After all, the bimbo is quick to get bored if not doing her research and she merely set her predatory gaze on the nervous pup not far from her.

Observing Tsume's vicious gaze, Orochimaru licks her lips slightly and narrows her gaze, "My, my, dear Inuzuka. You just sold your partner for power. I'd say we're both the same. Of course, you lack the necessary self-awareness to understand that, but still, a woman hungry for growth knows a similar individual when she sees one, and YOU, are one of us."

"Shut up," Tsume seethes but Orochimaru's smile only grows wicked, "Why should I? Without your Ninken, you're half the Kunoichi you were previously. Even then, you had no hope of stopping me to do as I pleased. Besides, it's all the truth, right?"

Matching the pup's gaze, Orochimaru felt a little better. Only half an hour had gone by but without necessary individuals, life can be SO boring!

What a girl must do to have some fun, no?

Orochimaru's words are like a bucket of cold water that douses the flames of anger burning inside Tsume and the little one scowls. Even being a hothead did not give her the right to mess with one of the Sannins—

Suddenly, Tsume's eyes widen and she snaps.

"You're a woman?!"

Orochimaru giggles, "Finally caught on? It seems to be true that women can catch on to this particular hint quickly. But then again, I did call myself a woman."

"You did?" Tsume looks confused before scowling, "You STILL smell like a bitch-in-heat! I just didn't think more of it then!"

The corner of Orochimaru's eyes twitch as her gout physique and sunken cheeks become fuller at a pace visible to the naked eyes until her generous bust begins to strain her tanned tunic and she quips, "Am I now?"

The 'scent' disappears in an instant, stumping Tsume.

How could the pup know that Orochimaru just wants to get even riskier to have some excitement? After attaining Sage Mode, her strength arguably surpasses the Third Kage and now, her gender-reveal party is one big game for her to raise a reaction from those she wants to. Of course, now that Kai pulled Tsume into a more secretive initiative since this Chimera Cursed Seal of theirs is to be kept secret from the 'formal' facilities of the village, Tsume also became the next target Orochimaru would hint to.

Noticing the lack of a distinct scent of arousal around Orochimaru anymore, Tsume grows a little more cautious. She stares at Orochimaru like a hurt little animal staring at a hunter.

"Of course, even if your Ninken survives..." Orochimaru smiles gently, her face and expression revealing a sense of mirth, "He may just lose his mind. But you gave it all up, didn't you?"

Seeing Tsume's expression changing from anger to reluctant control of it and then cautiousness, Orochimaru gets a greater sense of this girl. Though the girl is wild, she has a mind befitting a kunoichi. Of course, in Orochimaru's eyes, the act of risking the life of a valued partner is not wrong if the benefits are greater than the losses.

But the snake and the pup are fundamentally different.

"Nothing will happen to Kuromaru," Tsume finally hisses and stands up.

"Where are you going?" Orochimaru smirks.

"To eat something, you little asshole!" The pup finally scoffs but before her hand could reach the door, a thick green python coils around her body and pulls her back. The python's body is a direct extension of Orochimaru's arm and Tsume is soon suspended in front of the Sannin as her slitted yellow eyes look at Tsume from top to bottom.

"Careful now," the Sannin as a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes. She truly is being an asshole, but so what? "Words have consequences attached to them," her intent seems to have grown by many folds after being bolstered by her chakra that forms a suffocating pressure around Tsume. "And I do not believe you can bear those consequences."

Tsume still glares at the sannin. All her caution evaporated and all that remains is pure, unadulterated, and bestial rage!

"Fuc—"

Tsume suddenly disappears and Orochimaru feels the sensation of floating.

Before she can wrap her head around what happened, a vicious slap sends her bubble cheeks rippling before pain surges through her ass and travels throughout her body. But by this time, she falls on the couch once again and her long black hair tied in a low and loose pigtail flips over her head and covers a good portion of her face.

Orochimaru's left arm slowly reverts to a human arm and she tilts over to touch her stinging ass.

It's not a dream.

Without any shame, she walks over to the nearest mirror and slides her trouser down to reveal a pale ass barely held by strangely familiar black panties as a conspicuous handprint now decorates her left ass cheek and her pear bottoms slowly look like a ripe apple due to the rush of blood.

She watches the mark with a daze.

But the observant Sannin already knew whose hand this handprint came from. She has observed everything about him down to the last millimeter!

A rather forceful show of discipline but Orochimaru hums while pulling her trousers up, "I see why the civilian villages, greater cities, and even the capital of the Land of Fire have seen a growth in masochism. Pain can truly be a delight."

She sits down once again and meditates, not caring if Kai still has any clones around and if she accidentally exposed her ass and her 'insight' into Tsunade's lingerie to any of them.

This time, she has no itch to cause a ruckus and sits down calmly in a rare moment of satiation.

"—k you! You bitch, I'll—" Tsume comes to a stop when she finds herself in heart of a damp rainforest, and the sight of Kai's deadpan expression fills her with more fear than Orochimaru could ever hope to inspire in others.

"A- Alpha? No, uh... I wasn't calling you—"

"Nah, don't worry. I'm way more impressed. From your decision to appropriately risk things for power and then even verbally lashing out at Orochimaru," Kai smirks and helps her stand up. Her vertical pupils look around and she questions curiously, "Where are we?"

"In the Forest of Death," Kai replies. Of course, he wasn't going to bring Tsume to Shikkotsu Forest. He didn't even bring Mikoto and Nono there.

Her gaze zeroes in on the unconscious Kuromaru and she rushed out. Quickly crouching near him, she inspects her Ninken and then lets out a sigh of relief.

"Is he alright?" She looks at Kai with a panicked expression as he nods calmly. Not the kind to troll and say shit as— Kuromaru died, Kai walks over and crouches beside her, "He needs rest, is all. The seal converges a new type of chakra, similar to Iryo-Nin's healing chakra. I've also added supplementary seals that reduce the negative impacts so you and Kuromaru can use this seal anytime you wish really, and for as long as your Chakra can hold out. But initially, Kuromaru will have to bear some irritation for a few days whenever he activates the seal. And you need to train with him all over again to get to the same level of partnership as before."

By the time she understood that he was fine, Tsume already stopped focusing on Kai's words, prompting him to smirk and knock his knuckle on top of her head, "This means, you cannot go out on missions and need a few months."

"Can I train with you?" She suddenly looks up at him with glowing eyes as he shrugs, "Sure. But only two times a week. I've got other stuff, too, then another stuff, and yet another stuff."

She nods hurriedly, not daring to demand more and already happy with the 'grace' she's been blessed with.

"So... what does it do? Wait... before that, was Kuromaru really in danger?"

Tsume looks at her ninken once again when Kai chuckles, "What do you think?"

"He wasn't in any danger... maybe," Tsume still sounds unsure but Kai replies with ease, "I guess you'll never know. Though, I know. Maybe you can beat the answer out of me eventually."

She huffs but still gently pets Kuromaru's head.

"I was fucking scared..." She mumbles eventually.

"You should be. Power is a scary thing. And not everyone is like me to be so self-controlled."

Now Tsume felt there is something deeply wrong with this statement, but she also holds unimaginable respect and adoration for Kai and has been trying to get under his thighs for the longest time so she doesn't think too much about it.

While Kai and others were happy to deal with their own situations, startling news struck Suna, Konoha, and Kiri.

The composition of the Nine Tail Beasts has always kept a semblance of balance. One tail is extremely powerful in the deserts and holds a unique territorial advantage while Kumo, Kiri, and Iwa have been 'gifted' two of the bijus. Finally, Konoha itself retained the strongest of the nine beasts. But this leaves one of the nine bijus out.

Of course, it doesn't roam free. It simply cannot roam free. In the era of Hashirama Senju, many talented shinobis who survived the warring era formed their own villages. Aside from the five powerhouses, there are dozens of villages out there. Some of them have already been annexed by the large villages.

But of them, one shinobi had great talent and the remaining Jinchuriki originates from this shinobi's village.

However, news of Iwa and Kumo sending more and more shinobis around this village has sent a wave of major concern to all the other villages.

A rather deep voice with rich timber echoes in the silent and large cavern and this strange white and humanoid figure with facial features that are twisted into spiral snickers without a mouth.

"Of course!" His tone is joyful and playful, "He's in Konoha but I couldn't get close t'him. That place has seriously changed! Like Woah! You don't check up on someone for a decade and bam! Danzo has betrayed Konoha, new elders, a frightfully strong new generation! Oh! Oh! Even your plan 'bout Uzu failed!"

All that meets this strange creature made out of suspiciously white-caked stuff is silence until a soft hum of acknowledgment echoes.

"Keep an eye out. Make sure that Rain is weakened... keep on spreading confidential info from one nation to another... And tell me what happened to Uzu."
