Chapter 125

By the time Jonathan, Charlie, and the others arrived, the private room was still a mess. Lina’s people were guarding the door, not letting the security guards in.

Millard kicked the door open with one foot, and when he entered, a woman tried to stop him but he grabbed her wrist and threw her to the ground.

The security guards rushed in instantly and separated the fighting crowd.

Jonathan quickly scanned the chaotic crowd and saw Estelle just as she looked up at him.

As Jonathan was about to pass by, Lina suddenly broke free from the security guards and ran up to him, gritting her teeth, “So you’re Jonathan, Hattie’s sugar daddy? You guys manipulate the market with your money and ruin so many people’s futures. You dirty fucks!” Everyone was taken aback, not expecting Lina to be so bold.

The woman that came with Lina reached out to grab her wrist to stop her from speaking.

Lina was already crazy, “You guys may be afraid of him, but I’m not! I don’t believe he can destroy me!”

Charlie said coldly, “I may not kill you, but I can make your life a living hell!”

He then said to the people beside him, “Take this crazy woman to the police station. She’s creating chaos and fighting. Send a notice to all entertainment companies: never hire such a despicable artist again!”

Lina stared wide–eyed, “Who are you to say that? What gives you the authority to decide?”

Charlie replied sarcastically, “Yeah, you don’t even know who I am. So how can you say I have no authority

Lina’s face turned pale in a second.

In the end, Lina and her friends were all taken away. Hattie walked over, her clothes torn by Lina and her makeup ruined. A clear handprint was visible on her face, making her look pitiful.

“Mr. Lamont!” Hattie looked up, tears streaming down her face.

“Go take care of your wounds first,” Jonathan said indifferently. “I’ll talk to Aaron and give you a few days off.”

Hattie looked at him gratefully and injured, “Thank you, Mr. Lamont!”

Charlie raised an eyebrow at Jonathan, “Why don’t you cherish a delicate woman like Ms. Hattie? She’s been seriously injured, and you need to personally take her to the hospital and then bring her back home.”

Jonathan glanced at him, “Since you know better, you go.”

Charlie half–jokingly said, “I’d like to, but I’m afraid Ms. Hattie only wants you to take her home.”

Hattie’s face turned red, “I’m already so embarrassed today, Mr. James. Please don’t tease me.”

Charlie was about to continue when Jonathan cut him off, “Millard, you go and escort Ms. Hattie.”

“Yes!” Millard replied indifferently, “Ms. Hattie, let’s go!”

Knowing how disheveled she was, Hattie didn’t dare linger on Jonathan. She thanked him softly again and hurriedly left.

When Jonathan went to find Estelle again, he found her seat empty.

“She’s gone, and you’re still here looking for her? Let’s go,” Charlie laughed.

Jonathan glanced around the room one more time but didn’t see Estelle. He nodded and walked out with Charlie.

Outside Midnight Bar, Magdalen had to jog in her high heels to catch up with Estelle, “Why are you walking so fast? It’s like you can’t bear to be seen. Don’t forget, you’re his legal wife!”

Estelle stopped and turned around, “He has never acknowledged me as his wife!”
