Chapter 1278

On Saturday morning, Estelle was still snoozing when she heard noises coming from the living room. She poked her head out of her bedroom door and sure enough, it was Jonathan Lamont.

There he was, in his blue and white striped shirt, hanging in the kitchen, seemingly warming up some milk for her.

Estelle looked out at the morning sun, stretched lazily and went back to freshen up.

Afterward, she changed into some new clothes and walked into the dining room, laughing. “Why didn’t you drag me out for a run today?”

Jonathan turned his head, smiled and said, “You can chill on Saturdays”

Estelle chuckled, “Thanks”

She was wearing an oversized white shirt, her hair all messy on her shoulders, lit by the morning sun, her features as exquisite as a painting.

Jonathan took a good long look at her before turning his head away.

Estelle took a sip of her milk, frowned and asked, “Did you forget the sugar?”

1 added some, isn’t it sweet?” Jonathan came over and leaned on the table, looking at her sideways.

Estelle shook her head, “Not sweet.”

“Let me taste it?” Jonathan said, suddenly leaning in for a quick peck at Estelle’s lips.

Estelle was taken aback.

He took advantage and invaded her mouth.

With one hand on the table and the other cradling Estelle’s head, he kissed her deeply.

Estelle closed her eyes and responded to him, the sweet taste of milk lingering between their lips and teeth, she swallowed involuntarily, causing his eyes to darken with desire.

When she felt him kiss her jawline, Estelle immediately pulled away and whispered, “No, I have to teach Henson later.”

Henson Lamont was so sharp that he’d figure it out they were a thing in no time.

“He’s known for ages!” Jonathan caressed her face, his eyes full of tenderness

“1 still need to maintain my teacher’s dignity in his eyes! Estelle laughed.

Jonathan gave a wry smile and kissed her lips again, “He knows you’re my wife, that’s more important than any image!”

Estelle pushed him away. “Let’s eat first!”

Jonathan sat down, laughing. “I’ve already sent Emily her breakfast when I ordered, so you don’t need to bother.”

Estelle nodded.

“Any plans for the afternoon?” Jonathan spread some of Estelle’s favorite cheese on a sandwich and handed it to her.

Estelle thought for a moment, “Nothing special, I guess.”

Jonathan nodded, “Good”

Estelle took a bite of her sandwich and looked up in surprise, “Huh?”

Jonathan smiled meaningfully, “Nothing, eat up.”

Estelle seemed to catch his drift, her ears flushed a little, she pretended not to notice and took a big gulp of her milk..

It tasted a little sweeter than before.

After breakfast, they set off together.

When they arrived at the Lamont family home, Henson was kicking a ball around the yard. Seeing them, he ran over panting, a grey puppy trailing behind

him.

Estelle instinctively hid behind Jonathan.

Henson’s eyes widened and laughed, “Are you afraid of this little pup?”
