“TII take Kya to freshen up!” Charlie took Kya to the bathroom after a quick glance at Emily
Emily quickly stepped aside, and after they left, she tidied up the bed.
A moment later, she emerged from the master bedroom to find Charlie and Kya brushing their teeth together at the sink. Charlie was still in his pink bathrobe Kya stood on a stepping stool. They were brushing and giggling simultaneously
Emily watched for a while before going to make breakfast.
When Charlie and Kya finished washing up, Emily took Kya to,change. Seeing the clothes that Charlie had discarded the previous day, she asked, “What are you going to wear?”
Charlie, who was checking his phone in the living room, casually replied, “Kent will bring me some clothes in a bit.”
“Oh!” Emily responded before taking Kya back to the bedroom.
Just as they went in, there was a knock on the door. Charlie got up to answer it, but before he reached it, the door swung open to reveal Estelle wearing workout attire and carrying breakfast
Estelle looked surprised. “Charlie?”
Charlie adjusted his bathrobe, greeting her nonchalantly, “Morning, Estelle!”
Estelle glanced around. “Where’s Emily?”
“She’s helping Kya get dressed” Charlie responded with a light smile: “Come in and have a seat.”
“No need!” Estelle lifted the breakfast she was carrying and said, “I brought breakfast for Emily and Kya. There’s more than enough; you can join us.”
“Thanks!” Charlie smiled, looking handsome and elegant, although his pink cartoon cat bathrobe was a tad out of place.
Estelle didn’t linger and handed the breakfast to Charlie before saying her goodbyes
Back at her place, Jonathan was preparing breakfast. Seeing her return, he smiled warmly and asked, “Would you like to eat first or take a shower?”
Both had been out for a morning run and were covered in sweat.
Estelle’s eyes twinkled with mirth. “Guess who I saw downstairs?”
Jonathan guessed it pretty quickly: “Charlie””
