Chapter 1319

Estelle swept her indifferent gaze over the faces of the people speaking and retorted in a stern tone, “I’ve never heard of victims getting blamed before. I caught this guy snapping photos of my friend today. What if I hadn’t? What was he planning to do with those pictures? He’s violated my friend’s right to her own image, and now he’s begging for mercy because he’s afraid of facing the consequences. And this makes him deserving of your sympathy?”

The speakers were left feeling awkward by Estelle’s words, their gazes darting around, not daring to speak anymore.

Kevin frowned and said, “What exactly did he take pictures of? Let me seel”

He took the phone from Magdalene’s hand, ready to check. But just then, the man who had been kneeling on the ground suddenly stood up, snatched the phone from him, and dashed towards the bar’s exit.

Everyone was taken aback, especially the few who had been defending the peeping Tom. They felt mocked.

This man didn’t seem remorseful at all.

Estelle wasn’t about to let him escape, and she caught up with him in a few strides Hearing the sound behind him, a flicker of cruelty flashed across the man’s face. He flung the phone out of the window.

The bar was on the sixth floor, and the phone shattered when it hit the ground.

After getting rid of the phone, the man looked back and grinned fearlessly: “No phone, no pictures, you can’t do anything to me even if you call the cops!” Estelle kicked him, sending him crashing into the wall and then falling down, coughing up blood.

A scream rang out from a woman in the bar.

Magdalene ran over, half-drunk, and yelled, “Ella!”

Estelle walked over to the man sprawled on the ground, squatted down, and stared at him coldly. “Whatever your intentions were, this is the end of the line. If you dare to take pictures of her again, I’ll make sure you’re bedridden for the rest of your life.”

The man’s eyes showed a hint of fear, and he instinctively backed away.

“What happened?”

A tall figure entered the bar from the entrance. His gaze landed on Estelle, and he strode over

Estelle stood up and looked at Jonathan, saying, “Someone was taking pictures of Magdalene!

Jonathan first looked at Estelle, then at the man on the ground, and said in a deep voice, “Did you call the cops? Let them handle it.”

Estelle said coldly, “He smashed the phone.”

As she finished speaking. Morrison walked past Jonathan towards Magdalene. Wearing gold-rimmed glasses, his face was stoic. He frowned at her and asked, “How much did you drink?”

Magdalene looked at Morrison, and her anger and flamboyance from earlier evaporated. She shook her head obediently and said, “Not much.”

Morrison’s assistant followed behind, discussing compensation for the damages caused by the chaos with the bar staff.

Taking advantage of the chaos, the peeping Tom scrambled up and ran off

The phone was already destroyed, and Estelle had hit him, so no one bothered to chase after him.

Thanks for your help tonight!” Morrison wrapped an arm around Magdalene, expressing his gratitude to Estelle and Jonathan.

Jonathan responded indifferently, “No need. Ms. Sampson isn’t sober, Mr. Langston; you should take her home early”

Morrison nodded slightly.

“Morrison!” Estelle called out, then said earnestly, “Magdalene’s been out of sorts lately I hope you can keep her company.”

She didn’t spell it out, but she believed that Morrison and Magdalene, after so many years together, knew each other well, and he would understand her meaning.

A shadow of emotion flickered in Morrison’s eyes, and he nodded slowly, “Alright, I understand.”

Then he turned to Jonathan, smiling a little, and said, “I hope you can also take good care of Estelle.”

Jonathan understood his meaning and nodded in response, “I will!”
