In no time, Estelle was out of cards. Her eyes sparkled like stars as she applauded Jonathan.
They were perfectly in sync. As soon as she lifted her hand, Jonathan raised his arm, their palms meeting with a crisp sound.
Emily watched enviously.

Charlie furrowed his brow at Emily and said, “Don’t worry, I won’t let you lose!”

Emily giggled, “I did a few times in college during events, but haven’t since moving abroad. If I’m not good, please bear with me.”
