Clement returned to the private room, and Manley knew Estelle refused to come when he saw Clement coming back alone. His handsome face showed a helpless smile. “How is Jonathan better than me?”
Clement sat on the couch. “Maybe it’s because Estelle met Jonathan first.
“That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s better! That girl will be fooled by Jonathan sooner or later!” Manley stood up, sighed and said, “I’ll have to find her myself!”
Clement stopped him. “Don’t bother; she was called by someone from room 8805.”
“Who’s in room 8805?” Manley asked in surprise.
“I’m not sure; Estelle probably hid there to avoid you.” Clement raised his eyebrows.
Manley gritted his teeth. “Damn girl!”
He then walked out of the private room with long strides.
He walked slowly towards room 8805. When he reached the door, he noticed something was off. He leaned against the wall and slightly opened the door to take a peek inside. At first, he was shocked by the scene, but then he couldn’t help but laugh.
The room was a mess with broken bottles all over the floor and two women lying on the ground. Two more were huddled in a corner. At this time, Estelle was grabbing one woman by the hair, pushing it towards a table.
The table was covered in glass shards, having her face pressed onto it would leave horrendous injuries. So the woman struggled desperately, letting out a scream.
Manley was worried someone might interrupt Estelle. So he walked into the room and closed the door behind him, leaning against the door to watch.
Estelle glanced at Manley, her face was expressionless, and then continued her assault on Leah.
Leah’s face was a mess. Her newly done nose job was ruined, and she wept, tears blurring her vision. “Please, don’t hit my face; I was wrong! I won’t do it again!”
Estelle grabbed her hair and pressed her face onto the table. The woman let out a shrill scream.
With no change in her expression, Estelle asked coldly, “What’s the deal with you and Nicolas?”
Watching Estelle interrogate effortlessly and without flinching, Manley wondered what kind of experiences she had in the past. It seemed like it! wasn’t just self–defense skills.
At first, Leah didn’t want to talk. Sensing Estelle about to exert more force, Leah panicked and yelled, “I’ll tell you! I’m chasing Nicolas. I even had my dad pull strings to get him promoted.”
“What else?” Estelle asked.
Leah continued, “I’ve spent over 100,000 on Nicolas. I bought him all the clothes and shoes he wears now, and oh right, a designer watch.”
“Did he accept all these gifts?” Estelle’s voice turned cold.
Leah’s face was contorted in pain as she tried to speak through the agony. “Yes, he took them all.”
“Have you slept together?”
Tears flowed from Leah’s mascara–caked eyes as she sobbed and choked out, “Yes.”
Feeling a sinking feeling in her chest, Estelle asked, “Who initiated it?”
Leah cried, “The first time, it was me. I took him to a hotel after he got drunk. The second and third times, it was him.”
Estelle unconsciously applied more force to her grip and asked coldly, “Is that true?”
Leah screamed in pain, “Yes, it’s true! There are pictures in my phone. I’ll show you if you don’t believe me!”
Estelle took her phone, unlocked it, and browsed through the album, frowning.
There was a separate album filled with explicit pictures of Leah and Nicolas in bed. The images were taken secretly and were so graphic that Estelle felt disgusted. It was apparent from the photos that Nicolas wasn’t drunk or forced.
She took a deep breath, intending to save a few pictures to show Norah. But then she decided against it, realizing it would only upset Norah even
more.
The gentle, hardworking man in Norah’s mind turned out to be so disgusting and despicable. Estelle didn’t want to scar her forever.
Estelle threw Leah onto the couch and turned off the recording on her phone. When She turned to leave, Manley opened the door for her, glancing at the mess inside the room, and walked out with Estelle with a smirk.
