He took a long breath, realizing his back was soaked in sweat, and the breeze from the central air conditioning felt incredibly refreshing!
When Estelle returned to the ward, the doctor was still checking Emily’s body, and others were waiting outside.
Soon the doctor came out, took off the mask, “Emily’s hand is badly injured, and other areas have cuts of varying severity, fortunately, she did not suffer any substantial harm.”
Estelle silently breathed a sigh of relief.
The doctor’s tone suddenly became serious, “She was fed something, needs immediate gastric lavage, who are her family members, please come sign the liability form.”
