Jonathan wanted to ask more, but Estelle suddenly kissed him on the lips and said, “It’s late, let’s go to sleep.”

Norah put the daisy in the vase and trimmed the excess branches with scissors.
Yvonne sipped her tea and asked with a smile, “Has Norah started dating yet?”
Norah paused and shook her head, “Not yet!”
“Don’t worry, take your time choosing! Yvonne said gently.
Norah smiled, then asked Cathrine, ‘Where’s my uncle? I haven’t seen him for days. Isn’t he coming home even for the holidays?”
Yvonne looked up meaningfully, “I heard from Charlie that Jonathan went to the airport early this morning, seeing off Estelle, I think!”
“Really?” Norah turned in surprise.
Janice explained, “I asked Jonathan for a favor. Ms. Macclain was going home for the holidays, and I prepared some gifts for her to take back. Since she had to carry the luggage herself, I called Jonathan to help.”
“Oh, I see!” Yvonne smiled in relief. “You’re so thoughtful!”
Janice replied. “It’s rare to find such a good tutor. She’s an out–of–towner and Norah’s classmate, so we should look after her a bit more

Janice patted her hand, Ms. Macclain is always kind to us, so of course, I have to treat her well.”
