Chapter 729

“Meet me at the Sapphire Hotel, I give you the room number when you get there”

“Alrighty!” Estelle gathered her stuff. “See you tonight then!”

“Remember to dress up nicely!” Henson reminded her.

“Got it!”

Estelle waved goodbye and headed out the door

Once back at the Royal Mansion, Estelle rang up Jonathan, “Henson Invited me to dinner tonight. Do your thing, no need to rush back this afternoon.”

Jonathan chuckled softly, “Alright, he is my nephew, I’ll let him have his way.”

Estelle arched an eyebrow, “I thank you on Henson’s behalf for being so magnanimous!”

Jonathan laughed again, his voice deep and magnetic, “Where are you guys eating? Il have Millard drop you off, and I’ll pick you up after dinner”

“Sounds good!”

Estelle agreed.

The two chatted for a few more words, and after hanging up the phone, Estelle ate something, and then went to the study to design the drawings.

The afternoon flew by, and before she knew it, it was already getting dark. Estelle stretched lazily, glanced at the time, got up to change her clothes, and prepared to head out.

She tied her hair up in a ponytail, put on a camel-colored sweater dress, topped it off with a cream- colored long coat, and remembering Henson’s reminder, she also put on a light makeup.

Just as she was ready, Millard’s car arrived.

Millard parked the car in the yard of the Sapphire Hotel.

After getting out of the car, Estelle thanked Millard and headed inside.

Once in the lobby, she noticed there were still receptionists checking people in. Estelle gave a small smile, unsure of what kind of dinner event Henson was attending, but it looked quite formal.

A greeter immediately came over, enthusiastically asking, “Are you a fellow student too?”

Estelle thought for a moment. She could be considered a family member of a student, or a student herself, so she nodded.

The greeter led her to the elevator and took her to the second floor, then guided her towards a banquet hall near the corridor

Walking down the corridor, the plush carpet was clean and elegant. Through the round wooden windows, she could see the blooming plants in the courtyard

Pushing open the doors of the banquet hall, Estelle instantly realized she had walked into the wrong room.

The banquet hall was decked out in a birthday party setup, with pink and white balloons and flowers everywhere. There was a huge princess castle at the front, complete with Barbie and flamingo decorations, both dreamy and beautiful.

The hall was already filled with people, young folks and elegantly dressed ladies, clearly a birthday party for a girl.

More people kept coming in, and Estelle received a message from Henson, telling her to go to the banquet hall at the very end of the second floor. Yep, she had definitely walked into the wrong room!

Just as Estelle was about to turn around and leave, she noticed the host who was welcoming guests.

Simone Macclain, dressed in a light blue gown, was smiling brightly, introducing a lavishly dressed lady to Carmella Macclain, who she was holding hands with

Carmella was wearing a goose yellow, diamond-studded long dress from GK Jewelry studio, and a matching small crown, looking every bit the princess. Always elegantly trailing behind Simone, whenever someone complimented her, she would nod and smile gracefully, showing humility Bennett Macclain was also present, dressed in a proper suit, taking care of the guests with a big smile on his face.

A family of three is happy and harmonious, which is very enviable

Turns out, this was Carmella’s birthday party.

Estelle glanced at the date, December 29th. Indeed, it was Carmella’s birthday, and also her own.
