Chapter 807

“No problem, it’s all your Inman grinned. “I reckon you could even become an A–level designer in the future!”

Designers in the studio were ranked SABC. Apart from Jason, only Sophia, who was still in M Country, was S–level. Hannah was A–level. Before, Inman and Miya Alice were B–level, but thanks to their involvement in a movie, Inman had now been promoted to A–level.

Maybe because of this, Miya deeply regretted her decision. If she hadn’t got Estelle be her assistant, she might be the one being promoted to A–level.

As they were chit–chatting, Jason’s assistant came up and said the boss had arrived and asked Estelle to come over.

Inman laughed, “Off you go, maybe Mr. Gilder has a big surprise for you.”

Estelle stood up, “Then I go first

“Sure!” Inman gave her a gentle smile.

Walking down the corridor to Jason’s office, Estelle bumped into Hannah coming out of the break room. Seeing Estelle, she asked her assistant, “Is Estelle in the studio today?

“Yeah, I just saw her too,” the assistant replied.

Hannah kept her gaze on Estelle’s back as she entered Jason’s office, sheered and said, “An assistant, always getting into Mr. Gilder’s office, isn’t that a bit fishy?”

Her assistant whispered. “Not just in our studio. I heard Estelle is popular on the set too. Even the director takes special care of her.”

Hannah’s face darkened even more, “Being young and pretty sure does help when you’re surrounded by men. I’ve seen plenty of girls like her/By the way.”

She paused and looked at her assistant, “Are you sure the sketches you showed me were Estelle’s?”

The assistant immediately nodded, “Yes, they’re hers, no doubt!”

Before, Estelle had left a sketchbook on the office desk when she was called in by Inman. It was spotted by Hannah’s assistant.

The designs in the sketchbook were casually drawn by Estelle. But the lines and proportions were so unique that it caught her attention. She snapped a photo and sent it to Hannah

Hannah was taken aback when she saw it. The unique proportions were something she had seen only in the designs of KING.

So Hannah suspected Estelle was copying KING. Even the designs Estelle made for the movie, she thought there was something fishy about them. She didn’t believe Estelle could come up with those designs herself.

Hannah thought for a moment and said, “Find a way to ask Mr. Gilder’s assistant if the sketchbook Estelle has was given to her by the boss.”

The assistant nodded, “Okay.”

Inside Jason’s office, he was on the phone. Estelle waited for a while and seeing that he was still talking, she took out her phone to play

a game.

Just as she finished one round, Jason frowned and asked, “Still playing? Have you read your annual report yet?”

Estelle glanced at Jason and lazily replied, “There’s Harriet at GK Jewelry studio, you’re here. Doesn’t make a difference whether I read it

or not

Jason looked at her helplessly, his eyes filled with indulgence and tolerance, “Well only let you slack off until you graduate. After that, don’t even think about being a boss who doesn’t care about anything!”

“Got it” Estelle replied nonchalantly.

Jason sipped his coffee, “How’s old Mr. Jarvis?”

“He’s good.”

Jason nodded, took out an invitation from a drawer and handed it to Estelle, “Take a look at this”

Estelle opened it to find an invitation to a studio opening.

Jason said, “it’s Carmella Macclain’s studio. The opening is on the 10th, and she invited us.”

Looking at the invitation, Estelle had a smile on her face. Carmella opening her own studio, Simone Macclain should be pleased, or relieved, that she chose the right person.

She handed the invitation back to Jason, who tossed it into the trash.
