Estelle didn’t say anything else only that she was going to Tinct Village tomorrow and might stay there for two days. She asked the innkeeper to hold her room and paid for two more days stay
The innkeeper was pleased with Estelle’s straightforward and reliable demeanor and happily accepted her money, promising to wake her before nine the next day.
When Estelle went upstairs, she could hear the couple next door getting cozy and whispering sweet nothings to each other. The soundproofing was terrible, it felt like they were all in the same room.
Estelle quickly washed up, lay down on the bed, and put on headphones
The next morning, Estelle came downstairs on time. She had a backpack on her shoulders, wore a T- shirt and black pants, and a black baseball cap. She was inconspicuous on the street.
Three minutes later, the bus to Tinct Village arrived. It was an old bus that could seat more than ten people.
A man was sitting in a black private car parked nearby, wearyingly looking out the window. His gaze accidentally swept over and stopped on a woman getting on the bus.
The young woman was wearing a baseball cap, revealing only half of her face, but he recognized her immediately!
