Chapter 299: Absorbing Realm Crystal
Chapter 299: Absorbing Realm Crystal
The system notification appeared before Lein's eyes, making him smile in satisfaction. With a mere thought, the ring floated slowly toward the index finger of his left hand. Once it was in place, the ring felt perfect—not too large, not too small.
"Very comfortable," Lein said, inspecting the ring. The spatial energy radiating from it made him feel like a king.
"I wonder what's inside." Without delay, Lein sent his consciousness into the heavenly spatial ring. What he saw made his eyes widen in amazement. Within, an endless space unfolded, filled with countless objects.
Energy crystals emitted multi-colored light. Mysterious stones glowed softly, as if harboring magical power. Piles of golden armor stood tall in one corner, while everyday items like plates, tables, and even torches were scattered haphazardly throughout the space.
"This man was truly wealthy," Lein muttered, his steps wandering through the boundless space in awe. He had never imagined the vast wealth a Guardian could hide.
"Are all Kings and Guardians this rich?" Lein wondered aloud, his smile growing wider. Thoughts of hunting other Kings and Guardians began to surface in his mind.
If every victory yielded treasures like this, the struggle against them would be immensely rewarding. However, he held back the burgeoning greed in his heart.
"Ah, there it is!" Lein exclaimed with excitement as his gaze fell upon a pile of glowing green crystals in the corner of the space.
In Lein's hand now rested a star-shaped crystal with a brilliant white hue. A soft light radiated from its surface, enveloping the surrounding area with a pure and serene aura. As he held it, Lein felt an indescribable calmness, as if every burden in his mind had disappeared in an instant.
[Nature Crystal]
Contains life energy, can be used to enhance the life energy of the Tree of Life.
"So simple," Lein murmured as he read the crystal's brief description. Yet, he could sense the immense power hidden within it.
Without hesitation, Lein retrieved all the Nature Crystals stored in his Heavenly Spatial Ring. The crystals floated out slowly, spinning in a circular formation before him. A total of 124 crystals, each radiating a gentle glow, created a breathtaking display in the room.
Lein let out a short sigh, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Time to see how this works," he thought as he opened the Guardian Panel.
[Guardian Panel]
- Life Branches: (Tree-Level Branch), (Resource Branch), (Protection Branch), (Energy Quality Branch), (Luck Branch)
- Nature Crystals: 0
*Please select a tree branch to enhance.
Lein carefully read through the panel, his eyes shifting from one option to another. However, there were no buttons or clear instructions for adding the Nature Crystals. He frowned, feeling perplexed.
"There's no button to add them?" he murmured. "Maybe I just need to bring the crystal closer to the orb?" Lein guessed, picking up one of the crystals.
As Lein brought the crystal closer to the transparent orb hovering in front of the panel, a notification immediately appeared.
[Absorption of Nature Crystal initiated…]
[Absorption 0.1%...]
[Absorption 0.2%...]
Lein watched the process unfold with a frustrated expression. The absorption rate was agonizingly slow, prompting him to calculate the time required. "If one crystal takes 27 minutes… then for 124 crystals… this is horribly inefficient," he grumbled.
"Can I let go of it?"
Curious, Lein released his grip on the crystal. It now floated in the air, remaining connected to the orb by a kind of transparent energy thread that emitted a soft glow. Lein observed the connection closely.
"Hmm, a bit troublesome. But I'll let it be for now," he muttered, deciding to let the process continue. At the very least, he now understood the basic principles of how the Tree of Life worked.
Before moving on, Lein suddenly recalled an important ability. With a single hand gesture, he opened the duplication menu. In an instant, the 124 Nature Crystals before him multiplied into 10,000. The expanse of crystals filled the room, shining like stars in the night sky.
A small smile crossed his face. "This should've been the plan from the start," he said, satisfied. With this, he had enough resources to accelerate the growth of the Tree of Life without any delays.
Lein glanced at the Guardian Panel one last time before closing it. "Next? Enhancing the realm?" he wondered, his eyes filled with determination.
He swung his hand, creating a rift in the air before him. Light from the rift enveloped the surrounding space, exuding a mysterious and inviting aura.
Without hesitation, Lein stepped through, leaving the room behind. Read the latest on M V L

In a grand room adorned with luxurious ornaments, every corner exuded opulence, while the light from crystal chandeliers cast a soft glow on the walls. The gold and deep blue tones of the decor added an air of elegance, creating a serene yet lavish ambiance.
Near an open window, Nita sat comfortably in a plush chair. Her face looked tired, but her eyes were fixed on a small bright blue crystal in her hand. She turned the crystal slowly, as if searching for answers within it.
"The 37th crystal," she muttered softly, her voice nearly swallowed by the silence of the room. There was a tone of despair in her words, the result of 36 previous failures.
She let out a long sigh as doubt began to creep into her thoughts. "Do I truly lack talent?" she wondered, the voice of her inner turmoil growing louder.
Her gaze shifted to the ceiling before she lowered her head, clasping her hands together while gripping the crystal tightly. "God in heaven, please help me," she prayed softly, her words barely a whisper.
With the last bit of faith she had, Nita touched the surface of the crystal, confirming her system prompt. A radiant light began to shine, accompanied by an animation sequence that slowly unfolded before her eyes.
[Successfully used Talent Crystal…]
[Searching for a suitable talent…]
A progress bar appeared in front of Nita, slowly filling as the numbers climbed: 20%… 45%… 60%… She bit her lower lip, staring unblinkingly at the screen.
