Chapter 43: Entering the Realm of Xroxx55
Chapter 43: Entering the Realm of Xroxx55
The sight of a city full of technology appeared before Lein and Nita as they emerged from the massive 50-meter-tall portal.
After resolving the issues with setting up the first branch store in the Guandu realm, they immediately returned to the City of Life and then entered the 50-meter-tall portal in the City of Disaster, owned by Old Man Haikal.
They emerged in a very busy part of the city. The area where the portal was located was a designated zone surrounded by boundary lines. Besides them, they also saw others emerging from the portal. As usual, various races and types of power cores appeared.
"Honored ruler, welcome to the realm of Xroxx55."
"Honored ruler, welcome to the realm of Xroxx55."
...
A woman with short hair, wearing a tight metallic blue outfit, floated above the ground with a white disc under her feet. She greeted everyone emerging from the portal with a warm smile.
"Amazing... isn't this far beyond Earth's technology?" Nita exclaimed, awestruck by the cityscape in front of her.
Black and metallic blue buildings pierced the clouds endlessly, their unusual shapes adding a sense of grandeur Nita had never imagined. Flying cars soared like birds along their paths, and police officers with special vehicles monitored specific locations.
City residents also observed the arrival of various races from the portal. They were equally amazed and surprised by the powerful individuals emerging, a rare sight indeed.
Lein tried to find their next direction, his eyes settling on a nearby cubical building not far from the portal. Blue cubes, three meters tall, were neatly lined up around the portal, with people queuing to enter them. Lein and Nita joined the nearest queue and waited their turn.
After a few minutes, it was finally their turn.
Inside the simple box was a holographic panel. The panel requested Lein to fill in his personal data as he had done when entering the war post in the Guandu realm.
Lein casually filled out all his information on the form. After finishing, the holographic panel printed a card that appeared in a box next to the panel. Lein took the black card and inspected it.
[War Badge]
- Name: Lein
- Power Core: System | Tier-2
- Rank: Bronze
- Contribution Points: 0
- Origin: Divine Sky Realm
Seeing no difference from the war badge in the Guandu realm, Lein didn't pay much attention and exited the box.
...
"Look, brother, they have a flying soccer field!" Nita exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She pointed to a large holographic screen showing a flying soccer match, a futuristic sport where players used jet shoes and tried to score goals with a glowing ball.
Lein smiled slightly, directing his gaze elsewhere. "Yes, it's incredible. But we need to focus. We have to find the Odomot race war office."
Lein and Nita started walking, following holographic guides floating in the air, directing them to the Odomot race war building.
From various pieces of information in the city, they learned that they were in the Odomot race territory, the Player race in the Xroxx55 realm. The Xroxx55 race was currently at war with the Yezor race, the Faithwarden race.
They walked through bustling streets, filled with various races and creatures busy with their affairs. The surrounding buildings soared high with sleek, futuristic designs, casting long shadows on the ground.
Finally, they arrived at the Odomot race war building. It was one of the most striking buildings in the city, towering with a sleek and futuristic design, dominated by reflective black glass and glowing blue neon accents that shone at night. The entrance was large and automatic, opening smoothly as Lein and Nita approached.
Inside, the floor was covered with a shiny material reflecting shadows like a mirror. The lobby was filled with various races from across the universe, each busy with their matters. In the center, a floating reception desk operated by a friendly and efficient AI.
Large screens displayed available missions, complete with engaging holographic visuals. On one side of the room, there were several interactive kiosks where warriors could choose their missions, check contribution status, or obtain important information.
Amid the hustle and bustle, Lein and Nita felt excited and enthusiastic. The displayed missions varied from border patrol to exploring new territories. Warriors from various races discussed and conversed, making the place lively and full of energy.
Lein stood before a holographic panel selecting missions when suddenly, a young man with a long, round hat spoke from the side.
"Excuse me, are you also here to take a mission?"
Lein observed the young man, who looked quite young, then his gaze shifted to an older man behind him, who seemed to be a guardian.
"Yes, that's right. Is there a problem?" Lein asked. He had a bad feeling about this kid. Just from his appearance, it was clear that this boy was not ordinary.
"Sorry, but can we do a team mission together?"
The young man asked with some difficulty, as if afraid Lein would refuse. He had been watching since Lein and Nita first entered the war office, but now he mustered up the courage to ask.
Hearing the sudden invitation from a stranger, Lein rechecked their status panel to ensure nothing was amiss.
[Status]
- Name: Zhao Feng
- Race: Shenlie Zie
- Power Core: Cultivator
- Rank: ???
[Status]
- Name: Liang Wei
- Race: Shenlie Zie
- Power Core: Cultivator
- Rank: Qi Condensation
The young man was named Liang Wei, while the older man was Zhao Feng. Once again, Lein felt uncomfortable meeting someone whose strength was above master level. He disliked dealing with someone who could easily kill him.
"Sorry, but we can't," Lein didn't want any trouble with these two, so it was better to refuse from the start.
The young man looked a little sad upon hearing Lein's rejection.
"Why?" The young man didn't give up; he wanted to know the reason.
"What the... who are you? I don't even know who you are, where you come from, or what your purpose is," Lein cursed the boy in his mind.
"I already have my own team," Lein made a reasonable excuse.
"How many people? Are they strong? Is there any vacancy?" The boy kept asking more questions.
