Chapter 156 Seeing Han Ling Again

Having left Azure Sea Garden where Ye Shiman resided, Li Chen took out his phone and gave Wen Yao a call.

Today was Han Ling's birthday, Wen Yao's bestie, and he had promised Wen Yao in advance that he would spend the day celebrating with her and Han Ling.

Wen Yao affectionately hooked Li Chen's arm and entered a spacious private room.

Inside the room, there were about a dozen people, men and women, some chatting idly, some belting out songs.

Li Chen smiled and nodded as a greeting, then was pulled by Wen Yao to sit down on the couch.

"Brother Chen, that's just their wishful thinking. In Yaoyao's heart, there's only Brother Chen!" Wen Yao said shyly with a smile, clinging tightly to Li Chen.

She knew she wasn't technically Li Chen's girlfriend yet, but she still felt secretly thrilled about the implication of her words.

"Haha, no worries!"

It was just beer, and when it came to drinking, Li Chen had never backed down.

Before long, the two guys trying to drink him under had lost their pep, swaying and staggering.

Wen Yao had also had a few drinks, her pure face flushed red as she leaned dizzily against Li Chen, evoking envy and jealousy from the others.
