Chapter 267: Babe~

The nurse shivered looking at the cold look on the man's face. She could not help but wonder what is the relationship between this man and the lady.

She did not think Nian Zhen was Mo Jia's bodyguard because she was dressed very simple. Her look did not match with that of a Young Miss of rich family.

She calmed herself down before walking to the side. Mo Jia followed after her as she passed the ID Card in her hand, "Take it. You had dropped it," she said trying to control the weird assumptions going in her mind.

The nurse accepted the ID Card with a grateful smile on her face, "Thank you, Miss. About what you have seen…'' 

Looking at the hesitation on her face, Mo Jia got impatient, "Tang Yichen and his secretary. What are they doing here?" she asked.

The nurse looked around pretending to be cautious before she said, "What would a couple do here? The lady inside is pregnant and…Ah... Miss, forget what I said, don't mention it to anybody," She quickly said before walking away.

Nobody noticed the victorious smile that appeared on her face.

Nian Zhen looked at Mo Jia, "Young Miss, should we go confront them?"

Mo Jia waved her hand slightly, "No need."

She place her hand where her heart was, there was a sudden discomfort there as if someone has squeezed it hard.

She liked Tang Yichen for the man he was. He was good partner and they were compatible. She herself was saying during the breakfast that divorce is inevitable between maximum couples, and it's common, nothing to worry about. 

Then, why was she feeling uncomfortable?

She herself said that rather than getting depressed, the couples should part amicably with a good conversation.

But right now, she did not want to confront him at all. She just wanted to run away from him.

'Why am I having such toxic thoughts? Weren't we supposed to part amicably?' She thought to herself.

"Young Miss…Young Miss…"

Nian Zhen's voice snapped her out of her daze, "Drop me at Ash Corporations. I…I want to meet Zihan," she said before walking out of the City Hospital.

Maybe because they were twins, they had an unique bond. Whenever her emotions were unstable, he would always manage to cheer her up in one way or another.

Tang Li was sitting on the windowsill of the large French window as she took a sip of her coffee, her gaze never once moving away from the raindrops landing on the glass surface.

The weather was still fine when she left Grace Villa but now it was raining so heavily.

She suddenly missed Mo Yuhan. If their identities were not special, if they did not have responsibilities waiting for them then maybe they could have just snuggled together in bed or do something more.. ahem..!

She stopped her thoughts from wandering so far. She was already missing Mo Yuhan, if she thought more about him, would she feel lovesick?

"Aye~ What do I do?" She has finished more than half of her work within three hours without taking any break.

But now that it was raining so heavily, she did not feel like working at all. She just wanted to laze around in her sweetheart's arms.

"Why am I being so needy today?" Tang Li shook her head at her weird behaviour.

Just as she was about to get up and got back to work, her phone went off.

She picked it up from the windowsill before glancing at the caller ID. Her gaze flashed with a hint of warmth, "Hey babe~" She said in a seductive tone.

The man who was sitting in his office, while looking through some documents stiffened at the way she addressed him.

He closed the documents in his hand before putting all his focus on the phone, "Lili.."

"Yes?" Her voiced seemed to be laced with honey as she replied to the man.

"Are you drunk?"

"Yes…" she dreamily sighed, "It has been a while since I'm drunk, your eyes are intoxicating. Don't you know that?" 

His heart skipped a beat. He suddenly felt like a teenager whose crush was teasing him.

Mo Yuhan's ears reddened slightly. When she is being all straight and calm, he knew how to deal with his cold wife. But whenever this flirty side of hers kicked in, he always became helpless.

Just as Mo Yuhan was about to say something, hurried knocks interrupted the peace in his office before Qin Jingze entered inside with two thick files in his hand.

"Mo Yuhan, look at these highlighted statements in the first file. Don't you think it's somewhat wrong?"josei

There were some shuffling sound on the phone. Tang Li thought he must have kept the phone down while looking at the files.

She suddenly felt moody, "I miss you so much," She traced the raindrops with her finger, "I miss you the most on days like this," she murmured, unaware to the fact that the man has heard it.

When she went abroad, there were days when she could not sleep while thinking of the senior brother who seemed to have stolen her heart.

She would often find herself missing him terribly whenever it rained. 

Mo Yuhan's lips curved up in a soft smile hearing her voice.

Qin Jingze, who noticed the change in his best friend's expression immediately sneaked out of office. He did not need an extremely high IQ to know who was Mo Yuhan talking to.

Rather than eating dog food, he decided to retreat peacefully to avoid the torture of being single.

Tang Li sighed for the umpteenth time as she looked out of the window when Mo Yuhan spoke up, "Lili, I love you."

If not for her good self-control, Tang Li would have almost jumped out of the window to confirm that she was not daydreaming.

It was very rare for him to express his love in words, and she regretted not being in front of him right now.

"Lili, did you hear that?" The man's deep voice snapped her out of her trance.

"Yuhan, the wind is too fast today. Actually I'm done with my work. So you just stay there and wait for me. I'm coming to Mo Empires," she paused before continuing, "You must repeat what you said now."

She quickly hung without giving him the chance to speak.

Mo Yuhan chuckled as he looked at his phone. He did not believe that she did not hear it but he won't mind saying it again and again.

Tang Li suddenly felt impulsive like never before. She wanted to see him right now. How she wished she could have the ability to teleport!

She picked up her bag as she put her phone inside. But before she could walk out, a certai someone entered the office room and pounced on her in a flash.
