Chapter 286: Marriage proposal

"Achoo.." She rubbed her nose.

Mo Zihan chuckled, "Take the second dose of medicine and have a good rest," He said before pulling himself to stand up from the couch.

Before he could walk to the kitchen to bring a glass of water and medicine for her, he felt a soft hand holding him back.josei

He turned around to look at the woman who was holding his hand tightly.

"I love you too. Let's be together," She had her eyes closed as she said it.

Silence.

When she did not hear anything from the man, she opened her eyes to look at him. His face was expressionless as he looked at her.

Her toes curled up. Had he changed her mind already? She could only blame herself for badmouthing him in front of Tang Li and also misunderstanding his relationship with his sister.

Earlier, although he was behaving normally but she could sense that he was angry at her. Angry about what? She did not have an idea about that since she did many things wrong.

She was even planning to avoid him forever after their 'one-night stand'. She suddenly felt guilty regarding that under his intense gaze.

"Why do you think should we be together?" His voice turned cold.

Her lips trembled as she lowered her head and looked at the floor. Was this man on his period? Why was he being so moody here? 

A few minutes ago, he was shamelessly clinging to her and telling her that she can only seduce him. But now, he was asking her why should they be together? She felt like biting this man to death.

Mo Zihan pinched her chin before raising her head, his blue eyes locked onto her face as if he was trying to see through her soul, "Ying Yue, you would better tell me about it. Why do you think we should be together when I'm not the type of guy you would want to spend your whole life with?" He asked her, although his heart has long melted because of her confession.

But he would not let it show on his face. He was angry that she did not speak to him, and assumed whatever she saw. Even if she thought that he had a girlfriend, could not she ask him about it rather than ignoring him?

They even had sex. At that time, did she think that he was having a one-night-stand with her despite having a girlfriend? Was that what she thought of him?

Mo Zihan decided to set some ground rules before they take a step ahead in their relationship. The woman has already teased him a lot, now it was his turn.

Ying Yue gulped. She regretted speaking all those things after that time. But after she saw Mo Zihan and Mo Jia whom she thought was his girlfriend, she was injected with chicken blood to deny her feelings for him.

"I...I was trying to lie to myself. I thought you don't love me and were not serious about what happened between us yesterday…" So, I decided to protect my ego rather than looking like an unwanted woman.

The rest of her words were left unsaid but he understood what she meant. He closed his eyes to resist his urge to hug her.

'Ground rules first!' 

"So, what will you do the next time?"

She looked at him confusingly. The next time? Next time for what?

"The next time there is a misunderstanding between us, what will you do? Will you chose to ignore me again?" Considering his personality, Mo Zihan knew that he was bound to make mistakes. 

He was not as perfect as his elder brother and he knew that.

He did not know that his elder brother can drink trucks of vinegar, he is even pettier than him. So, birds of a feather flock together!

Sometimes Mo Zihan could be petty, jealous, and childish, sometimes he would make mistakes but one thing he knew as long as he was committed to her, he would cling to her even when she was annoyed with him.

Mo Zihan just wanted the same assurance from her that she would not abandon him when that time comes.

"When there is some misunderstanding between us.." She tapped her chin, seemingly contemplating hard.

Mo Zihan scowled. Is it that difficult? Shouldn't she say that she will stick to me through thick and thin?

"If you misunderstand me, then I'll kiss you. If it is the opposite, as in I'm the one misunderstanding you, then we can go for a good sex," Contrary to his thoughts, the woman said something that made him choke on his saliva.

"Ahh.." He swooped her up from the couch in one swift move as she instinctively wrapped her legs around his waist.

He had one of his arms on her hips while the other on her waist as he buried his face on her neck, "You are seducing me," he whispered.

She shivered at his warmed breath tickled her, "S-So what if I am? Didn't you say I should seduce you?" she asked.

"What if I want to take you right here?" he murmured huskily as he bit her earlobe before giving it a gentle lick.

"You can… I did not stop you," Now that all the misunderstandings between them have cleared up and they were in a relationship, she felt a burden has lifted off her shoulders. There was no barrier in between them and they had already done the deed, what would be she shy for?

"You are already sick… We don't want you to be in bed for a week, do we?" He asked her to which her eyes widened.

But she couldn't deny that. She did not have an ounce of strength after yesterday, she would not be able to walk for a long time if they did it today. She hugged him tightly.

At this time Mo Zihan's phone vibrated. He unlocked it before looking at the message.

'Second Young Master, all the preparations are perfectly done. When will you be here?'

He tilted his face to the side to look at the woman who was yawning lazily. He kissed her lightly before replying to the text. 

'She is already my girlfriend now. So, I'll take her there when I propose her for marriage.' He sent the text. 

Since they were already together, there was no meaning of a lavish proposal. As for the marriage proposal, he decided to prepare it when she was ready for it.

He smiled at that thought.
