Chapter 289: Mo Zihan, you should resign

After hanging up the call, she turned around to look at Tang Yichen, "I need to go to the hospital. There are two consecutive surgeries lined up today," It was the first time that she forgot something like this. She blamed herself for being so irresponsible.

He nodded at her, "Let's go, I'll drop you at the hospital," He said, looking at the time. 

Tang Yichen took a shortcut to Mo Global hospitals since she was in a hurry to reach as soon as possible. As he parked the car in front of the VIP entrance, she thanked him before getting off the car.

After taking a few steps, she paused and turned around to look at him. He was still there, at the same place, waiting for her to go inside safely.

She walked towards his gar before knocking on the glass panes. Tang Yichen lowered it as he looked at her confusingly. Did she forget something?

"About your question from earlier… I'm sure about one thing that whenever you are always able to make my dopamine level go all silly," Her face was straight as she stated her point before pressing a kiss on his lips, "I don't know if my answer counts," She stood up straight before walking into the hospital, leaving a certain dumbstruck fox prince all alone.

His fingers traced his lips feeling the warmth that she left with her butterfly kiss. Did her answer count? Of course, it did!

"This..and this...Have all of them revised," Tang Li said as she passed the data to her Secretary.

After taking a good rest yesterday, she was feeling much better and her cramps have been alleviated under Mo Yuhan's care. Today, she left Mo Empires early in the morning to avoid bumping into the employees considering the condition, she was in.

Since Mo Yuhan had a meeting lined up, he did not come back with her. Using her period as an excuse, she swiftly managed to escape from the daily martial arts practice.

"Alright, President Tang," Si Xiu bowed as she held and data before leaving the office.

Looking at her retreating back, Tang Li sighed. This mysterious secretary of hers was rather strange. Initially, she doubted if this woman had some ill-intentions but after running a background check on her, she got to know that she was an orphan and was not well-educated.

But Tang Li somewhat did not buy that looking at how efficiently the woman worked, she knew about all the business terms and she was perfect in every task she did. As for being an orphan…Si Xiu had the mannerisms of a rich heiress no matter how she looked.

But she did not want to investigate again. If she spent time doubting everyone around her, she would certainly feel suffocated by it one day.

If there is danger in the future, it's better to face it head-on.

"Come in.." She raised her head only to find Mo Zihan entering inside with a few files in his hand.

He passed them to her, "Here..I've finalized these three contracts. Have a look at them."

Tang Li pushed the contracts as she glanced at the man. Regarding his relationship with her friend, Ying Yue has already described everything in detail to her this morning. Although she was surprised, she was also amused at the way things turned out for them.

Sensing her piercing gaze on him, Mo Zihan gulped, "I know I am handsome but sister-in-law, you must not fall in love with me. I feel shy and I am taken," He proudly said the latter part.

Her lips twitched. No wonder why out of seven billion people in the world, he fell for Ying Yue. These two are certainly one of a kind.

She kept looking at his face as she noticed the dark circles under his eyes and his hair was so messy as he had been raking his fingers through them again and again.

She leaned back on her swivel chair; her gaze still constant on him.

Mo Zihan felt nervous under her scrutinizing gaze.

"Sit," she coldly said and within two seconds he found himself sitting on the chair. He did not have a good feeling about what his goddess was about to say.

"Mo Zihan, you should resign," her voice was stern as she spoke indicating that there was no room for negotiation.

His brows bumped together, "I… I don't want to.." He softly muttered.

Tang Li sighed, "How long are you going to work like this? Considering Mom's health, you have been managing Su Corps as well. You can't keep on working like this."

"But…"

"Mo Zihan, it's time for you to take over your rightful position. Even if Mom was alright, I can't keep you here forever. You are the heir of Su Corps, it is your responsibility to be back there," she said.

"I can manage both…"

She frowned, "For how long can you manage it like this? Now that you have a girlfriend, won't you spend some time with her? What if another man stole her when you are still stuck between both the company matters? Yueyue has been quite famous with men, and just so you know, they will be ready to queue up to have her as their girlfriend. If you don't give her time..who knows what will happen," Since the straight approach did not work, she decided to try it this way. She wanted to see up to what extent her friend mattered to him and if the trick worked, it could not be any better.

Mo Zihan slumped back on his seat. What his sister-in-law said sounded legit. Ying Yue is surely surrounded by a lot of bees, if he could not give her time, what if someone else caught her attention considering their relationship was just in its delicate phase.

It has been a long time since he has been working in Ash Corporations. He entered the company as a normal employee to gain experience but because of his fast progress in work efficiency, he got promoted over the years and became the Vice President and President Tang's close confidant, that is what they called him.
