Chapter 1096 - Space Element

Chapter 1096 - Space Element

Not long after, Alex and the others had returned to Eulja. As expected, they still couldn't handle the effect of the Teleportation Array that was so fast beyond belief.

As soon as they reached their destination, all of them dropped on their knees while sweating.

"Your Majesty. Let's use Teleportation Formation instead of Teleportation Array. This will certainly save us a lot of time." Agnis, who usually appeared strong, begged Alex as he didn't want to experience it again.

The scenery changed so fast it made them sick. If they were to close their eyes, it was hard to maintain their balance, forcing them to get shaken even more. Either way, the end result was the same, motion sickness.

"But using a Teleportation Array requires resources, so it's better using my Teleportation Array. I have mastered this technique to create a Teleportation Array in less than a second." Alex smirked evilly as if planning to bully them again.

"Rilt. Use your power to heal us." Helena looked at Rilt while sweating.

"This is not a sickness. It's just your perception that gets jumbled due to the Teleportation Array. To recover from it, you need to adjust your mind since my power can't heal you." Rilt shook his head in disappointment. "Besides, I would have done it already if I can!"

Alex chuckled and asked Lin Xingzhi. "That's right. Where is the Formation? I need to return as soon as possible."

"I will lead you…" Lin Xingzhi weakly walked forward before ultimately hugging him from behind. "Carry me."

Alex gave her a ride on his back as they entered the castle. However, the Elemental Gods could actually see Lin Xingzhi's right hand on her back, pointing that middle finger toward them.

"…" Vina twitched her eyebrows. "Did she just…"

"It must be due to Agnis appearing that strong! You have been trying to force His Majesty to do something!" Rilt snorted.

"No way! It was Helena. She shouldn't seduce His Majesty to the point she offends those two!" Agnis rebuked him while looking at Helena.

"What? Me? How about Canaan? Didn't he bring his daughter previously? He must be the reason." Helena pushed the blame to Canaan while looking away.

"No, no. The reason must be Zerah. What the heck with her retiring? You shouldn't retire that easily and force His Majesty to see your successor!" Canaan didn't want to end up guilty, so he blamed Zerah.

"You are wrong. It must be Rilt! He should become a bit more proper father-in-law!" Zerah glared at Rilt.

However, when everyone pushed the blame to the other, Rilt had no choice other than to look at the one beside him, Vina, albeit everything wouldn't go according to his way.

Vina only smiled at him, but that smile carried far heavier pressure than what Alex could give.

"Ah… Ah…" Rilt looked left and right before kneeling. "Ye, yes, Wife. It's my fault."

The Elemental Gods laughed in unison.

Alex, on the other hand, had arrived in front of the Teleportation Formation.

"I have asked someone to alter the formation. You should go now." Lin Xingzhi stretched her hand, asking Alex to step inside the formation.

"Alright. I will be missing you and the others, but I will try to go back as soon as possible." Alex smiled and activated the formation. "See you later."

Lin Xingzhi waved her hand while smiling. "Yep. See you later."

Alex blinked his eyes and quickly saw a different scenery. Activating his system, he followed the direction once again, going toward the inheritance place.

As soon as he discovered the black hole, he entered without hesitation and did everything he needed to enter the special place.

AI seemed to be waiting for him in front of the pyramid and quickly greeted him with a flat tone. "Greetings, Challenger. According to the record, you are planning to challenge the second test, correct?"

"Yes." Alex nodded with a serious expression. "Where should I go?"

"The second test is the Space Element Mastery that will be held there." AI pointed his finger toward the cylindrical building as the door opened just like that.

Alex couldn't be more surprised after the first tower, so he quickly entered without thinking anything. As long as he had made sure that the tower was safe, he only needed to finish the challenge. "Let's go then."

Surprisingly, the inside of this tower seemed to be made of reflective Space Stone. It was just like a normal Space Stone that could be mined to create a Space Ring, but it had been polished enough to reflect his shadow like that of a mirror.

"Hmm…" Alex looked at his surroundings before finding a piece of paper on the ground. Recalling the first tower, he waved his hand to grab the paper by using his Divine Energy.

"Let me see. What should I do to pass this test?" Alex muttered and started reading.

"What is Real? What is Fake? Between the actual world and Space World, which one is real? Why does the fake become real and the real become fake? It turns out…The real is fake and the fake is real. It can become anything without limitation.

"However, there is a boundary which separates them, forcing us to stay in this place. This Space Element Art is to lessen the barrier between the two boundaries, allowing a person to connect with both places at the same time."

Alex narrowed his eyes and muttered. "Hmm? I can't understand the meaning behind real and fake, but I can see that what this paper wants to teach me is to control my Space Element, so I can govern both worlds without much effort. That's basically the instruction, right?"

Alex began to read the rest of the information as the door was closed, trapping him inside.

"To pass the test, you are required to spread all the Space Energy in the room evenly. At the same time, you need to be in the real world, control the Space Element in the Space World to spread the Space Element in the real world and vice versa, and you are not a part of this, so make sure not to contaminate the room. Only after accomplishing these two, you shall be able to leave this tower."

"Oh… I don't know whether this challenge is going to be hard or not, but I will do my best. Well, to be honest, I haven't looked into my Space Element to the very detail, so I guess I will need to study it right now." Alex smiled and sat down on the ground to read the rest of the information.

While reading, Alex felt that the wall began to release the Space Element. Considering it was made of Space Stone, the power was quite extraordinary.

"What's this?" Alex widened his eyes when he checked the tower's condition with his Spirit Eyes. It turned out that the Space Element didn't act like gas. Instead, it filled the room like liquid. "The level is around one meter from the ground. So, I should spread this amount of Space Element all over the room and it needs to be distributed evenly? This is going to be hard, I guess?"

Before he started, the wall reflected something extraordinary. When Alex looked at the stone, he saw a number from one to one hundred.

"Seriously? The current level of this Space Element is number two, so this building is fifty meters. So, I need to spread everything to all those levels evenly? It's good to know it."

Alex's expression turned serious as he stretched his hand, controlling the Space Element like how he usually did.

Surprisingly, Alex realized something was wrong the moment he leveled up Space Energy. It either hit him or reflected by the Space Stone, destroying the pattern of the Space Energy.

It disrupted the energy and mixed it with the others.

"Ugh. This is not going to be easy." Alex twitched his eyebrows. "One mishap will turn the entire thing into failure? Despite the Space Energy acting like liquid, when I moved it, it had the characteristic of the gas. The Space Energy flowed in a torrential flow that made it even harder to spread evenly.

"It seems I need to move it carefully. The paper also explains how to convert the torrential flow to laminar flow, so I should use this chance to learn it first." Alex thought for a moment and read the technique again. "Alright. Let's train."

Alex smiled and started reading the paper again, planning to accumulate as much understanding as possible.

"Wait a minute. So, the Dungeon God got his name only due to the fact that he used the system? Of course, he took advantage of the system by creating an army of talented people using the System, but he himself was strong. Everything was apparent when I read this note that should have been left behind by the Array God.

"Both his Array Mastery and Space Element Mastery won't lose to that of Array God or Space God if there was one. What the Dungeon God wants me in this test is to control my Space Element perfectly. The challenge will be simple like this and gradually become harder and harder like the first test.

"If my prediction is correct, I believe that since the tower is made of Space Stone, it will release Space Energy from a specific location or I need to fill that certain location to make everything even. To be honest, my Space Element is now the worst, compared to my Array and Alchemy, so I guess this will take a few years? I hope that it won't take more than two years… No, I will finish this within two years."

Not wanting to waste any more time, Alex began following the instruction again as he challenged himself to finish this test.
