Chapter 782 - Last Meeting

Chapter 782 - Last Meeting

In the middle of the warm and comfortable room, Alex gradually opened his eyes, finding two beautiful women by his side.

They were none other than Firia and Sherry. Cultivating together seemed to give them a faster speed than cultivating alone because each of their flames attracted Spiritual Energy not only for themselves but also for the others.

Of course, it could only be this way because Firia's Sacrificial Fire and Sherry's Pure Fire were granted by Alex's Pure Fire.

Alex took a deep breath and smiled, watching how the two beauties opened their eyes. "Good morning. It's been five months since I need to take care of the planning. To think the three of us managed to reach 6-Star Martial Saint."

"Sherry and I are able to reach it two months ago while you are just finished consolidating your power and broke through to 6-Star a few days ago. Still, I couldn't believe that we could do this even in the consolidation period." Firia sighed, impressed.

"Well, I am consolidating every five stars, and during this period, I can't use Spirit Crystal or Gathering Array because what I need is the natural Spiritual Energy, not the one from Spirit Crystal or forced by the Gathering Array. However, it's a different case if the Spiritual Energy is naturally attracted because of cultivation. To say it in plain words, you can consider it as a win-win trade.

"I took the Spiritual Energy that was attracted to you, Sherry took mine, and you took her. It could be used with only two people, but since the three of us could do it, why stuck with two?" Alex grinned before rising from his bed. "Anyway, it's time to go out. I believe we only have a few days left before the war starts."

Sherry and Firia looked at each other and smiled as they rose from the bed and followed Alex.

As soon as he pushed the door open, Anya's figure came to his vision as she crossed her arms.

"?!" Alex was surprised and instinctively asked. "How many days left?"

"There is still a week. After noticing your breakthrough, I have been waiting for you to open this door."

"Ugh… Sorry." Alex scratched his head, embarrassed. "I have made you wait for too long. How are others' conditions?"

"They should be able to reach 7-Star in the upcoming war without any problem, and this is without EXP Cards. With EXP Cards, I think we have no problem in reaching 8-Star… Probably." Anya calculated everything, but she wasn't confident since it just barely qualified to reach 8-Star.

"That is good enough. Where are they? Have they returned to the base?"

"Yes. They are waiting for you in the main room. Stina and Kyle have woken up not long ago while Letizia has been waiting for you since three days ago." Anya nodded.

"How about the other forces?"

"Yeah. Most of them have gathered around the perimeter, so they are waiting for us. As for the Freedom Sect, they have gotten close enough that a single Spatial Gate should be enough to teleport them there. They should make a perfect entrance for this." Anya smirked.

"Nice." Alex nodded. "How about the arrays?"

"We have gotten everything we need. These are the drawings. I think a week is enough for you to make a perfect counter for them. If that is not enough, we can ask a few Array Masters from other places."

"I don't think so. To counter this, it mostly relied on Space Element. After all, the purpose of this is to break the core. Unless you cause great destruction upon the array like how normal people do, it's hard to break only the core without big aftermath." Alex sighed.

"That's right. I want to ask you this, but why won't we spread the blood only? I mean, won't it be able to confuse the array?" Anya asked.

"No. That's why the core of the array is important. You can say that it is the one that separates the array from the rest. Only if the core is destroyed, the other parts of the array would be able to fuse with the blood." Alex shook his head.

"I see." Anya nodded, understood why he wanted to destroy only the core. "And if we destroy the array in a normal way, it's easy to repair the array since most of them are still preserved. That's why you want to do all this."

"Yes." Alex nodded. "Anyway, we shall hold the last meeting before going to the battlefield. And how is Nelson doing?"

"He should be able to manage… Albeit barely. I don't know if he can arrive before the war starts though." Anya sighed.

"Well, we are rushing them, so I can't blame it. And Nelson is resourceful, and I am really thankful to him." Alex patted her shoulder. "Let's go."

"Yes." Anya nodded as she, Firia, and Sherry followed Alex to the main hall, where all Spirits, contracted beasts, and Letizia awaited.

*Creak!*

The sound of the door opening filled the room as they sensed a few presences from the outside. Everyone in the room instinctively stood up and bowed. "We have been waiting for you, Master."

"Come on. Let's just forget about this formality and stuff." Alex sighed and thought. 'Now that I am here, I realize that only Anna, Anya, and Firia who don't call me Master. Even Sherry has gotten used to that and refuses to call me by my name. I wonder if my name will be forgotten because they call my title instead of my name in the future…'

"Alex." Anna sneaked behind him and called his name. "We have asked the two influences and successfully made them infiltrate the Ancient Blue Family. They have regrouped with the N squad there and know their job well. The same applied to the Space Element Disciples from the Freedom Sect. They will be teleporting the spies to the traps' locations and bring the spies out of that place."

"That's good. In other words, there should be no more traps, and this will be a full brawl fight." Alex nodded and took his seat.

In the room was a huge table with Alex's seat on the front and the others on the side. Anna and Anya obviously were on his right and left, followed by Firia and Sherry. After that, the others sat in random order.

"After this meeting, we shall go to the battlefield to assure our allies. And I want them to see us as a mere group of elites that can be trampled by numbers before the Freedom Sect makes their appearance." Alex nodded.

"We understand. And how would you like to position us?" Anna asked before glancing at Anya.

"I have taken care of that. There will be three front in this fight. Since the Snow White Mountain also has a grudge with Manness, we will let the Drunken Pavilion handle them while Blackwade Clan handles the mercenaries from their side. Even though they don't have a leader, their number is more than enough to hold the Blackwade Clan back for a few hours.

"On the other hand, the Freedom Sect will come with us to hit the Fire God Clan from the front. Riadon and Viola will take care of their clan leader, Leo. You all must know their fire will become stronger and stronger. Hence, I want to have you pair up to kill a single elder or disciple." Anya proposed with a thoughtful look.

Alex thought for a moment and said. "I don't doubt about the positioning, but I will separate us to the three fronts. I want Letizia, Fabio, Vera, and Jean to go help the Drunken Pavilion. Letizia's Pure Ice element is very powerful in this front, so I want you to focus your strength to suppress their element."

"We understand." Not a single one of them complained, especially Letizia. This might be the perfect battlefield for her. Not only could she have her own revenge, but she was also not powerful enough to be the main fighter.

"By the way, where is Rose?" Alex asked Anna.

"Rose is still in her room. It seems she is going to break through at any moment, so I think it's better to let her stay for a few more days."

"Alright. It's good for her to reach the 9-Star Martial Monarch before the war."

"Yeah. I think the Potential Tower really opened her eyes as her potential bloomed even further after that test. If I am not wrong, she got the first Great Elder of Lightning Temple, which suits her the most." Anna nodded with a smile.

"That's good." Alex nodded before returning to the topic. "I will pick up Rose later, so let's return to the topic. I want Leoz, Jeanne, Artur to help the Blackwade Clan. With this kind of strength, I believe this one will end faster than any front. After that, you shall aid us in defeating the Fire God Clan."

"Yes." The trio nodded their heads. It could be said that they were the top three in terms of fighting prowess, so Alex's request was obvious. They wanted to use their strength to speed up the process. The mercenaries will surely lose their will to fight if they see the difference in strength.

"And I want the rest to follow me. I, Firia, Sherry, Kyle, and Stina will be able to suppress their fire due to our strength. However, I don't think we will do it that much because it will take too much energy. So, I want to suppress like a hundred of them, but only Martial Monarch. This way, the Fire God Clan will soon crumble if we do it a couple of times.

"Anya will do the usual with Greg protecting her. And Anna will use her butterflies to take care of the enemies. Since this flame of emotion will get stronger as the emotions overwhelm them, it also means that Anna's butterflies will be able to take control of their bodies easier." Alex grinned evilly.

"How about Rose?" Anna asked. Alex had given missions to all of them but missed one person.

Alex closed his eyes and sighed. "Anya… Can you take care of her?"

"Alright." Anya nodded. "It seems you are a doting master."

With her on Anya's side, she wouldn't get injured because they would be far away from the battlefield. At the same time, Greg would surely protect her.

"I just think that her bow is more useful from a distance. Besides, this is the biggest war we have ever experienced, so there is no way I am letting a greenhorn join us in the frontline. Letizia is different because she has personal grudges with the Snow White Mountain." Alex shrugged.

"Fine. We will leave it at that." Anya smiled.

"I will ask one last question. Do you want to add something?" Alex asked.

None of them opened their mouths before Alex rose from his seat. "Since no one has an opinion, let's go."

They stood up and walked closer to Alex before Anna halted her step. "I will watch over Rose."

"Alright." Alex snapped his finger, created a Teleportation Array beneath their feet, and the group disappeared from the base, leaving only Rose and Anna there.

A few minutes later, they arrived in a town not far from the battlefield. The town seemed to have been abandoned due to this war as they didn't want to receive the aftermath since it would be a big war. The same applied to all nearby towns. With six influences fighting in the Fire God Clan City, nothing could be predicted.

Alex looked around and checked the town with his Spirit Eyes, finding not a single person in the town.

"I will make the Array Plates here. Anya will deal with the diplomatic issues with the Blackwade Clan and the Drunken Pavilion. Jeanne will follow her." Alex nodded.

"Alex. This is the token to give the Freedom Sect signal to mobilize their army." Anya gave him a golden token.

Alex took it and nodded. "Alright. Thank you."

Anya smiled.

"Alright. Everyone can finish your own job now." Alex waved his hand as he walked toward a random building in his front.
