Chapter 131

Chapter 131: Yin-Yang Heavenly Brush

Suddenly, Elder Zachary took out a brush from his spatial bracelet and gave it to Whittaker.

"Before we begin, take this as a gift from me. It's a treasured heirloom that has been passed down from generation to generation. From my grandmaster to my master then this was passed on to me. This here is the best brush created through the combination of various techniques and peak level treasures. I hope that you will take good care of it!" He said while lovingly gazing at the brush in his hand.

When Whittaker gazed at it, Noah's notification popped up in his vision

The Yin-Yang heavenly brush naturally has "intelligence" and could follow Whittaker's thoughts. Plus, it could also help him in inscribing magical rune designs!

"Thank you, Elder! I will treasure this brush and treat it good!" Whittaker exclaimed with a beaming smile while taking the brush into his hand. It was like a fine piece of jewelry; however, it was soft yet hard. Plus, an unbelievable feeling spread out of it as Whittaker's hands warmed up.

"Okay, let us begin with the training!" Elder Zachary pulled out two [Seven Element Inking Set] and dozens of [Talisman Paper] from his spatial bracelet. He handed one inking set and dozens of talismans to Whittaker.

A brush, an inking set, and a paper, these three were the necessary tools for an inscriptionist. josei

When Whittaker gazed at the inking set, Noah explained all information about it to him. Moreover, Elder Zachary also explained its uses.

"This is an inking set that contains elemental blood of several kinds of magical beasts."

Elder Zachary and Whittaker opened up their inking set.

He pointed at the red inkpot with his forefinger and said, "The red one is a fire elemental blood. An inscriptionist can draw fire type magical rune designs by using this blood."

He pointed at the blue inkpot and said, "The blue one is water elemental blood. An inscriptionist can draw water type magical rune designs by using this blood."

Similarly, all the other inkpot contained an elemental type of beast blood. One by one, Elder Zachary explained everything about it to Whittaker.

Soon after, he dipped his brush into the Flame type inkpot then after three seconds, he pulled it out and started drawing a flame type magical rune on the wooden board.

Elder Zachary could complete the magical rune design in three seconds; However, this wasn't a competition but a teaching session, hence he went slow.

While sketching the design one line at a time, he explained the structure/design of the basic fire type "Fire Wave" magical rune to Whittaker, who stared at it with wide-open eyes.

Soon after, Elder Zachary finished with inscribing the Fire wave magical rune design on the wooden board. The lines intertwined and heat waves were released from it. These heat waves permeated into the surrounding.

Right then, the heat waves were absorbed into the wooden board and it shone in a scarlet glow. The flame Wave rune was successfully created.

Instantly, Whittaker easily memorized the entire Fire Wave rune design.

[Fire Wave Rune (Low-level)

Grade: Perfect.

Effect: With a command, Absorbs 100% necessary mana from nature to activate. Once activated, a sea of flame will converge in a single direction, drowning everything in its path!] Noah notified.

"Have you learned it?" He asked and Whittaker nodded, "Yes Elder, I have already memorized it!"

"Good, you really have an exceptional memory!" Elder Zachary praised while picking up the wooden board. "As you can see, this magical rune design is formed from the blood of a fire type beast, hence, it's a fire type magic rune called Fire wave. I can activate this rune with a single thought or by using mana or soul force. Similarly, you can use this rune by using mana, battle energy, or soul force. Do you get it?"

"Yup. Elder, should I try to inscribe one myself?" Whittaker asked. He wants to try out and create a rune by himself.

"Wait, first witness the effect of this Fire wave magic rune!" Elder Zachary told Whittaker to first witness the power of magical rune design then create one himself.

"Sure!" Whittaker willingly agreed. He too was interested in witnessing how powerful a magical rune design can be.

They were in a forest and Elder Zachary wasn't an arsonist, so he used a formation to open a spatial gateway towards the entrance of Monster tower. The Monster tower was located to the East of the Satyr's State governed by a Duke of the Wind Kingdom. It was 3700 miles away from Elder Zachary's palace.

"I will take you to an amazing place filled with treasure. Come, step inside!" Elder Zachary said to Whittaker, who readily agreed the moment he heard the words "Filled with treasures"

"Elder, I will help pull your chair!" He said and Zachary's mechanical heart instantly melted and his eyes thinned into slits. What a sensible child, he thought.

Whittaker helped pushed his wheelchair and they entered the spatial gateway and appeared in front of a huge monolith structure which was guarded by golems and guards, and surrounded by high walls. The Monolith structure was a building with 100 floors and its peak thrust into the skies.

"Elder, it's as big as your palace!" Whittaker said. Awestruck, his eyes and mouth were opened wide.

"Haha, close your mouth before you swallow a bug." Elder Zachary kindly reminded.

Embarrassed, Whittaker closed his mouth.

Their sudden appearance didn't startle many or cause a disturbance. Hundred thousands of people usually visit the famous monster tower, after all.
