Chapter 204: Barbarian Sonjuki Death!

Accompanied by this taunt, Sem appeared in place of his emerald arrow by using his battle skill [Switch place]. This skill allows him to switch places with his arrows.

The moment Sonjuki saw Sem, an expression of disbelief could be seen in his eyes.

"You are… Sem, The Dragon Slayer!" The Barbarian pointed at Sem with his forefinger. It was shaking wildly and a horrified expression was etched on his face.

'Just what is a legend doing here!' He screamed in his mind.

Hearing his words, Sem wasn't the least bit surprised. He was a very famous person both in the Monster tower and the real world. Many people knew of him. His most glorious deed was slaying a "Red Dragon" and saving the "State of Sha" in the "Land Of Flames.

He merely stared at the barbarian with emotionless eyes and raised his bow to express his intention to kill.

Seeing the bow of Beginning and End aimed at him, fear crept up Barbarian Sonjuki heart. 

'Staying here's courting death! It's better to run away and regroup with my guild. Then, I'll have my revenge!!!' He thought of regrouping with his guildmates before hunting down Whittaker and Sem.

The Silver-ranked Barbarian Battle Master was clearly furious after Sem struck his ultimate attack but it still could distinguish between the choice of life and death. Sem was too powerful to face all alone, and he'll surely die if he does so. Hence, he immediately turned around and made a run for it. 

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

Arrows launched towards him but he utilized the unique terrain of the overgrown forest to avoid the attacks. Most arrows pierced through one to two trunks of the thick trees but came to a halt after that. That's how he dodged attacks while running away.

'So shameless,' Whittaker was appalled by the actions of the thick-skinned barbarian. Just a while ago, Sonjuki taunted him for running away but now he was doing the same. He was so shameless that even the flames of furry won't be able to melt his thick-skin!

However, he understood that the Barbarian was scared shitless by the appearance of Sem, The Dragon Slayer. Even he was excited to see Sem. Whittaker had read the legends of many experts and Sem was the youngest one amongst all those legends, after all. 

Furthermore, he could kill a Red Dragon. That means he can fight a peak B-rank expert. Sonjuki was merely as powerful as a C-ranked expert. While Sem could kill peak B-ranked Magical beast. Thus, the barbarian running away was a justified action. He knew he would die in mere minutes in combat.

"Neko, don't let him get away!" Sem shouted.

He was as calm as ever. Even though the barbarian could use the terrain to his advantage to dodge his arrow, he still won't be able to escape the fate of death.

"I'm on it." Neko jumped out from behind a tree and blocked Barbarian Sonjuki path.

He was surprised and happy. She was so small that it seems like the Barbarian will crush her bones by tackling her. He charged straight at her to do just that.

Neko didn't flinch. She pointed her spellbook at him. [Polymorph] she shouted while staring at the towering man.

The Polymorph Spell could polymorph magical beasts, humans, and other races into a sheep for 8 seconds. It was a rankless spell. Costume 100 MP per second. However, there was two weakness to this spell. First of all, the effect could be canceled by using a certain amount of mana or battle energy. Secondly, the cost would greatly increase when used on a high-rank battle master.

However, Sonjuki was exhausted from his battle energy. The spell worked its wonder and instantly turned the gigantic Barbarian into a little white sheep.

"Meh! Meh!" Even after turning into a sheep, it charged with all its might. But she kicked him hard, knocking him back.

"Melph!" The little White sheep crashed on the tree and was knocked down. Blood spurted from its mouth and it fainted.

Sem turned to take a look at Whittaker who was witnessing this battle while using battle energy recovery potions and mana recovery potions to recover from his exhausted state. Furthermore, his natural recovery rate was excellent but he also used the Icy healing touch skill to heal himself to peak condition

"Go deal the final blow. He's your prey." Sem said. He's here to befriend Whittaker and take care of the mess created by the constant killers for Jafar. Furthermore, he needed Whittaker's help. That's why he allowed him to kill the Barbarian.

He'll be killing two birds with a single stone. Not only will he get to befriend Whittaker, but he'll also owe him a favor. 

"Thanks," Whittaker happily replied before immediately using Ghost Step. He was instantly blasted off towards the exhausted and low Hp silver-ranked Barbarian battle master who had fainted. He arrived behind the severely wounded Barbarian. He raised the pitch-black Blood attribute S-ranked sword high, abruptly slashing down.

[Three-Clawed Blood Slash]! Three steaks of Scarlet sword light landed on the think neck of the Barbarian and ripped it apart. The low HP Barbarian fell to the ground with a bang, lifeless. His body pixelated before vanishing and leaving behind various treasures.
