Chapter 208: Problem of Foundation Roots

Yang Shi realized that the book's papers weren't separated at all. It's like a scroll which was stacked like book pages. If one doesn't take off the cover page, he won't realize that the left end of the page is simply glued.

When Yang Shi carefully began to unfold it, it became a meter-long scroll. Yang Shi tried to read the lines vertically. Then his expression changed.

The vertical lines looked like incantations as it was the spiritual qi circulation method for Earth Dragon Fist. Just from looks, it's a Heaven grade martial art. It has nine fist stances.

But when Yang Shi read it fully, his face turned odd. Out of the first two stances, the remaining ones can be used by those who have a dragon bloodline.

" Anyway, Let's check the first stance."

Yang Shi read it as his eyes sparkled with interest as he read it. This is the type of technique he wanted. Its name was Earthquake Fist. 

" No wonder. Using earth qi to strengthening your fist. When you attack, it will be like the ground quaking as it will fully crush your opponent." Yang Shi understood. As his Earth Monarch Seal was filled by one layer, Yang Shi can use Earth qi a bit.

Cultivators can use any type of element as they can transform spiritual qi into elemental qi with the appropriate incantations. But purely using elemental qi out of nothing is much difficult. Either one has to comprehend the intent of elements or one needs to have a special physique.

" Holy shit! What the actual fuck is this?" Yang Shi's hair stood on its end as he remembered something which he has long forgotten. Back then, when he finally opened his dantian and ascended to Spiritual Ascension Realm, this black and purple thing obstructed him.

Thankfully, Samsara Emperor's golden seal saved him at that time. Otherwise, he might have died that day. Yang Shi's eyes shrunk as he remembered from Samsara Emperor's memory. 

" Heaven...Suppression...Divine...Formation." Yang Shi's body trembled as his face turned pale. He finally connected all dots as he realized why he innately lacked a Primordial Spirit or Spirit blood and his broken foundation roots.

" Pfttt! HAHAHAHA." Yang Shi couldn't help but laugh in self mockery. " Yang Shi, oh Yang Shi... Did you really think that you will be invincible after having Samsara Emperor's memory?"

" Haha, The heavens! They really crushed you. Ahahahah." Yang Shi couldn't help but laugh in a twisted manner. He realized that there is no way to solve this problem.

Heaven Suppression Divine Formation, just like its name, it's one of the world's top five ancient formations. It's a unique mechanism, which combines the dao of formations and curse. " But why? Who someone used this godforsaken formation to suppress my body?" Yang Shi felt he was going to be mad. At this rate, he better forget to reach the Violet Palace Expansion Realm.

Yang Shi couldn't help but taking out one of his handmade cigarette and started to smoke.

" Nevermind. I guess I should stop the path of qi cultivation and focus on body refining. Primordial Fiend Tyrant Body Art is the same as Immortal class body refining method."

" With the pinnacles of all seals, I can achieve the same strength as a Heavenly Transformation Realm cultivator." Yang Shi scratched his head as he fell into thoughts.

" But it's still strange. I think the suppression is only in my foundation roots. Samsara Emperor's Seal destroyed most of the curse, so the remaining ones gathered in my foundation roots."

" Hah, what a crafty bastard. As long as it remains in my foundation palace, I can never reach Violet Palace Expansion Realm." Yang Shi chuckled.

" Wait, Actually... What if...I destroy the roots?" Yang Shi suddenly thought.josei

" Are you crazy?" Suddenly, Jin Yu spoke within.

" Ah, You are awake." Yang Shi asked.

" Yes, I have been refining the curse all along. Thankfully to the sudden increase of strange energy,  the curse has reduced quite a bit." Jin Yu said.

" Nonetheless, You still can destroy your palace roots. If you destroy it, you will never be able to cultivate the Violet Palace Expansion Realm." Jin Yu snorted.

" Even if I don't destroy, it will be still impossible to cultivate Violet Palace Expansion Realm." Yang Shi bit his lips from frustration.

" Hmm, Why don't you try the strange energy of yours?" It can even cleanse my Evil Immortal Curse." Jin  Yu suddenly said.

" Well..." Yang Shi's eyes brightened. Indeed, there is no problem trying it. Even if he fails, he will just abandon this path forever.

" Hehe, Miss Jin is really smart." Yang Shi praised.

" Hehe, then why don't you take me to some good place to eat? It's been a while since I ate anything tasty." Jin Yu chuckled.

" Sure." Yang Shi didn't mind as he nodded happily.
