Chapter 212: Call of Saber

" No wonder, It's really the Tyrranical Thunder Saber of Situ Nan." Yang Shi thought. Although the fragment of memory was shown by  Yang Shi's saber, Yang Shi already knew the identity of Situ Nan from the memory of Samsara Emperor.

Samsara Emperor lived for almost three grand eras, he know everything under heaven. Situ Nan later became a powerhouse even among the second circle of cultivation. His saber technique was also formidable, clearly going above any Heaven Rank technique.

The vision ended as Yang Shi found himself in space. He was standing in the void, in absolute darkness. Yang Shi stood there ponderingly. He felt after watching that battle, he was about to grasp something important.

" What does the saber symbolize? Absolute arrogance. Like a tiger unleashing its might. It's radiant like sun and cold like ice. The saber- The weapon of a tyrant! No techniques, just absolute power." Yang Shi murmured. 

Saber is pretty straightforward and rigid. Just like the saber arts of Earth, which were trained by many martial artists.

The Heaven Calamity appeared out of thin air as Yang Shi wielded it. The carvings over the saber became clear as it hummed with a pleasant sound.

" First stance! Gold Split!" Yang Shi made a dozen of golden arcs as he slashed out.

" Second Stance! Tiger Descends from Mountain!" Yang Shi jumped as a faint image of a tiger overlapped his saber. He made continuous slashes, like a tiger tearing its prey.

" Third stance! Mountain Cut! Yang Shi never fully utilized this move as he never comprehended the Saber Intent. But now, he felt like he finally understood it.

The Heaven Calamity shone with light as a vertical crescent light erupted from it. It went forward like a giant sea wave, splitting anything that came in its path.

Yang Shi finally realized the power of Mountain Cut. But he became very amused at the Heaven Saber Seven Arts. He wondered at the motives of Old Ghost, who had given him the technique. It's way too much of a coincidence, right?

That's right, The Heaven Saber Seven Arts are derived from the saber techniques created by Situ Nan. The true technique of Situ Nan was inside the Heaven Calamity. But it's amazing that Old Ghost also has it, although a defective one.

" Interesting. What is the identity of Old Ghost and Shen Yanyu? Wait, Shen surname... Could it be, They belong to *that/* place?" Yang Shi's eyes shone with interest.

" Nevermind, It's a very good exercise to merge Samsara Emperor's memory. Today is indeed a lucky day. I actually managed to comprehend the basics of Saber intent." Yang Shi felt he was flying in clouds.

It's very rare for even geniuses to comprehend any kind of intent before reaching Violet Palace Expansion Realm. Unless one has weapon Primordial Spirit of at least Royal grade, it's almost impossible.

But Yang Shi's Azure Lotus spirit helped him in the crucial moment and he comprehended the saber intent. Yang Shi finally exited from the mysterious space as he opened his eyes. But his expression changed as he saw Mo Yi standing with tattered clothes.

" Brother Mo, Are you alright?" Yang Shi asked in concern. He could see blood seeping from the mouth of Mo Yi. 

" Damn you! Who the hell enters in a state of enlightenment during battle? And you! Actually comprehended the Saber intent?" Mo Yi couldn't help but shout in rage.

" And you utilized all those techniques in real. I didn't want to interrupt you, but your third move almost killed me." Mo Yi mourned.

" Hehe, I'm sorry brother Mo. It seems you need to eat a healing pill fast." Yang Shi couldn't help but be apologetic.

" I am...fine." Mo Yi shook his head.josei

" I lost."

" Not really. When I was in an immobile state, You could have attacked me." Yang Shi said. " Enemy is never going to stop attacking if he saw you are having enlightenment. On contrary, they won't hesitate to deploy killer moves instantly."

" B-but, If you have used that move earlier, You could have won easily." Mo Yi retorted. " Brother Mo, there is no 'if' in battle. You either live or die." Yang Shi shook his head.

" Fine, It's a draw." Mo Yi finally said.

" Haha, Let's finish out battle some other day." Yang Shi smiled, but suddenly, he spat a mouthful of blood.

" Brother Yang! Are you alright?" Mo Yi became alarmed.

" Ugh, I am fine. I think when I awoke the Saber intent, the fierce aura ruptured my inner organs." Yang Shi closed his eyes as he said after thinking. He couldn't help but smile bitterly inside. 

After all, after his body was baptized by Metal qi, his inner organs are pretty strong. But the burst of Saber intent almost damaged it.

" Anyway, It's pretty small compared to my gains." Yang Shi chuckled.

" Well, come then. We will get treated." Mo Yi waved his hands.

" But what about the mess here?" Yang  Shi looked at the arena. It's all in ruins due to their battle. " 

"This? Don't worry about that." Mo Yi laughed as he used the command token.

The courtyard was in ruins after their battle. The duel arena was fully destroyed. It looked completely unusable.

The runes flashed again and Yang Shi became surprised. The destroyed arena's tiles just flipped as they rearranged themselves. It happened in a few minutes. There were no traces of the earlier battle.

" Well, such formations are pretty impressive, right?" Mo Yi winked. Yang Shi became speechless, but he was relieved to see this.

" Nobody will notice the anomaly, right?" Yang Shi thought inwardly.

They both ran back to the Mo clan to get some healing pills. They went to the pharmacy where the attendant nearly had a heart attack.

" Young Master Mo Yi! Noble Yang! Wh-what happened?" They became alarmed.

" Nothing. It's just some minor injury. Hurry, and give two Golden Restoration Pill." Mo Yi waved his hands. ' And give two packets of Purple ointment."

" Affirmative." The attendants nodded as they hurriedly gave him the things. After all, Mo Yi's status can make him arrogant throughout the whole Azure Feather Ancient Kingdom.

Yang Shi bade him farewell as he went back to his room.

" Eh?" Bai Ruxue didn't sleep as she was cultivating, but seeing Yang Shi, she became shocked.

" Young Master! Are you alright?" She hurriedly asked as he saw Yang Shi's appearance.

" Well, All good I guess. Don't worry about it. Ouch, it's aching." YangShi cried in pain as he lay on the bed.

" Uhh, Ruxue, help me to use this ointment." Yang Shi asked Bai Ruxue as he handed her the Purple Ointment. He took off all of his clothes as he lay naked on his back.

Bai Ruxue blushed slightly, but seeing the wounds on him, she quickly applied the ointment over him. 

" Golden Restoration Pill? I shouldn't use this now."
