Chapter 224: Might of Saber Intent

Yang Shi already comprehended the basics of saber intent. Even without drawing his Heaven Calamity, his intent is enough to kill anyone in the same stage as him.

Moreover, the opponent didn't even guard against the attack. So even if Yang Shi used only a bit of his saber intent, Yue Wuji was already injured.

Yue Wuji felt a tyrannical aura, as his chest was cleanly cut by the chop of Yang Shi' hand. Suddenly, a light glowed under his clothes and an inner armor appeared. 

Yue Wuji blasted back as blood seeped from his mouth. His hands trembled as he clenched his sword even more tightly. He looked at Yang Shi with confused eyes.

After tasting defeat by his hands, he went back and cultivated, practiced his battle techniques. Even his clan provided the best resources for him. But now, getting defeated again, was a great blow to his confidence.

" No, It can't be. I can't be defeated." Yue Wuji got up as he looked at Yang Shi.  He grabbed his sword as he walked toward Yang Shi.

" I never thought I have to use this move on you. Very well, you should be proud." Yue Wuji said calmly as he wiped the blood from his mouth. His sword glowed with hazy blue light as water vapors condensed around his body. The wounds on his body started to heal slowly.

The water streaks gathered around his body as it formed a wing of water. But it only formed one water wing behind him, as he didn't master the full technique.

Waves rippled as his sword size grew. It was like Yue Wuji Was controlling a giant wave of water.

" Sword River! Descend!" 

The water boomed like a tsunami as it came crashing at Yang Shi. Yang Shi's hair blew as he could see the mighty momentum of that attack. The water whirled as it formed a giant sword. 

Yang Shi didn't dare to be negligent, but he still didn't activate his Gold Devil Armor. With a wave, the Heaven Calamity appeared in his hand as his eyes glinted with a sharp light.

His saber hummed as Yang Shi used his saber intent. He raised his saber and shouted, " Gold Split!" His hands moved and he made multiple slashes. The giant water rive was cut one, twice, and multiple times.

As it continued to descend without stop, Yang Shi's attack grew even faster. He jumped and used his second move,  Tiger Descends from Mountain.

Empowered with his saber intent, a ferocious tiger was materialized in the air as it tore through the attack of Yue Wuji.

Yue Wuji snorted as his wing of water flapped. Instantly, he disappeared from his position. Yang Shi's eyes turned azure as he activated his Celestial View. Suddenly, he bent sideways as a sharp sword slashed at him from behind.

" Hmph! Petty tricks!" 

Yang Shi snorted as he slashed his saber at Yue Wuji.

Yue Wuji's wing suddenly came forward and blocked the attack of Yang Shi. Due to powerful impact, the water wing burst apart. But slowly, it congealed once more.

" Although I haven't fully cultivated my clan's Clear Wave Sacred Scripture, even with one of this wing, I can evade all your attacks." Yue Wuji laughed. Yang Shi merely snorted as he continued using his Gold Split.

Yue Wuji was forced backward, but with his wing of water, he received only a small scale of damage. 

Yang Shi frowned as he looked at Yue Wuji's wing.

" Tackling hard with soft." He thought inwardly.

" Heh, if you are using water, then allow me to use Fire." Yang Shi laughed.

Yue Wuji had a bad premonition as he saw Yang Shi was laughing.

"Clear Wave Steps." 

Yue Wuji straighten his sword as the ground beneath his feet became distorted. His speed suddenly increased. Yang Shi realized that Yue Wuji was using an agility technique, be he didn't care.

His spirit flame bloomed as the Crimson Lily in his dantian empowered it. A beautiful flower of flame bloomed on the left hand of Yang Shi. The Great Yang Solar Flame Art slowly revolved in his dantian.

" Spirit Flame?" Yue Wuji's eyes shrunk as he looked at the burning flower. Yang Shi pressed it on his blade as the flame spread over his saber. The saber looked even more tyrannical as flames blazed over it.

" Let's see how much your water shield can last." Yang Shi snorted. He channeled both his Fire Qi and Metal Qi as he used this combination of energy to execute the Gold Split.

" Flaming Gold Split!

With flame and metal qi mixed, the flames blazed like molten gold. Yang Shi's saber slashed at the Yue Wuji as it created a fiery tornado of slashes.

"Sacred Swan Spirit!" Yue Wuji howled as he pointed his sword at Yang Shi and made a piercing attack. The water formed a giant sword. It looked completely corporeal as an image of a giant swan appeared. The swan with white feather flapped its wings as it charged at Yang Shi.

" Yue Wuji finally used his Primordial Spirit?" The Yue clan elders became grave. Since Yue Wuji was going all out, his opponent isn't simple anymore.

The Swan spirit merged with the sword as suddenly, numerable small swords appeared around it. It was like the swan flapping its wing, the attack reached Yang Shi.

Yang Shi took a deep breath as his Spirit flame fully materialized, and the flames on his saber became even more vigorous. He completely immersed his mind in the saber intent as the spiritual qi in his dantian suddenly got sucked by his spirit flame.

He raised his saber as sharp saber intent came out piercing. Along with his spirit flame, Yang Shi mustered all of his strength as he slashed vertically at Yue Wuji.

*BOOM!"

The ground trembled as a fiery arc of saber light streaked. The image of swan cleaved by the flaming arc as it instantly became vaporized. It was like a pillar of flame descending from heaven, cutting straight at Yue Wuji.

Yue Wuji's face became alarmed as he hurriedly condensed a shield of water, but the slash tore through it like a paper. Yue Wuji's armor turned bright as Yang Shi's attack landed on it.

*BOOOOM!"

Yue Wuji's vision turned blurry as he flew back like a broken kite. The Yue Clan's elder's face changed drastically as his body blinked from his place as he arrived near Yue Wuji and grabbed him. 

Yue Wuji's vomited a mouthful of blood as his face was ghastly pale. Cracks spread on his inner armor as its luster became dim. The elder hurriedly fed him a pill and used his spiritual energy to stabilize his body.

Yang  Shi stabbed his saber on the ground as he looked at Yue Wuji.

" Junior, You went too far." The elder spoke icily as he looked at Yang Shi.
