Chapter 232: Jade Fox

" Young master…"

Hearing this, Bai Ruxue's body trembled as her heart became soft. But she braved her heart as she walked forward.

" Silly girl." Yang Shi laughed as he walked behind her.

" Greetings, Esteemed guests. What do I do for you?" A beautiful lady was sitting on the counter as she asked with a polite smile.

" I need to register myself as a fighter." Bai Ruxue spoke.

" This sister wants to duel in the arena?" The lady became astonished, but soon, she composed herself

" I can see sister's cultivation is at Sixth stage of Primordial Spirit Realm. For your level, You need to pay a hundred thousand gold coins and sign on this contract." She passed a piece of paper to her.

Although she was surprised to see Bai Ruxue, many members of various powerhouses come here to fight and test their skills.

One the contract, it was written that unless participants agree to a Life and Death match, killing or crippling the dantian of the opponent is prohibited. 

Other than that, no matter how grievous the injuries happen, no one can blame Heaven Protection Guild.

Bai Ruxue took a deep breath as she imprinted her spiritual qi on the contract.

" Young miss, Would you like to choose a mask?" The lady smiled. Most people who come here prefer to use masks to hide their appearance. 

These masks are also made from special materials which makes anyone's perception ineffective.

" En, I need this mask."

There are around six arenas in the Heaven Protection Guild. As Yang Shi was roaming near the Mission Pavilion, he saw many interesting missions.

"  A stalk of Purple Mist Flower needed. Price- Twenty Spirit stones.

" Kill the Storm Valley Bandit leader- 10 Million Gold coins.

" Need a Water attribute demon core of an Ancient Beast. Price- A hundred Spirit stones.

The list of wanted people is very long. But Yang Shi's face became weird as he saw one of the missions.

" Wanted- Blood Moon Hall's Assassin- Evil Shadow. Price- Five million gold coins. Capturing alive, an additional reward of a Top tier Purple Grade cultivation technique." Yang 

Shi read as he felt amused. 

What's more, there was a picture of him below the mission. But it was the picture of his disguised face, which he used when he killed Golden Sun Sect's disciples in the Deep Sky Forest and got the Blood Fire Fruits.

But what shocked him more was, another mission was pasted on side of the first mission.

" Mission- Flower Princess Hua's scarf. The person posses it is named Yang Shi. Depositing the scarf, the price is 80,000 gold coins." On this poster, there was the portrait of Yang Shi.

" Fuck! It is really just a coincidence?" Yang Shi became bewildered. Both posters were kept side to side, But no one knows that they were about the same person.

" But to think people are going to the extent to post missions in Heaven Protection Guild to get Hua's scarf." Yang Shi became speechless. 

He remembered how back on Earth, people were crazy about buying the bathwater of some lady.josei

" Damn, I better hide my face, else I will get in trouble In no time." Yang Shi thought inwardly as he left hastily for the arena.

" In the next match, our first contestant will be Hammer Fist." The announcer shouted. The crowd cheered as a bulky man appeared in the arena. 

His face was hidden by a black colored mask. His arms were covered by shining metal gloves. They rattled as he clenched his fist.

" The opponent is… a newcomer. Welcome, Jade Fox!"

Among the hootings of the crowd, a green clothed figure slowly walked out. Yang Shi's eyes turned sharp as he looked at the figure.

Although that figure wore a tight green robe, one can easily tell that it's a girl. Her curves were outlined by the robe as she wore a fox mask. A lean sword on her back was sheathed by the demonic beast hide.

" Hahaha! Are you joking with me? A girl?" Hammer Fist laughed loudly as he looked at Jade Fox with an interesting face.

" Mm, This figure is not bad. Little beauty, stop playing in this dangerous place. This brother shall be magnanimous and allow you to surrender."

" Hmph! It seems the might of Hammer Fist is just so-so. To think he doesn't even dare to fight with a newcomer." Jade Fox laughed. Although her tone sounded a bit weird, it was unmistakably a girl's voice.

" Audacious! It seems that I need to show my prowess to this sister." Hammer Fist laughed coldly as he walked toward the Jade Fox.  Suddenly, his speed increased as he made a grabbing motion towards the Jade Fox.

Jade Fox snorted as she became a green blur, sliding past the hand.

" Meager skill!" Hammer Fist snorted as his arms became distorted. From there, several shadows of arms appeared as they whipped at Jade Fox.

" Hmph!" With a flash, Jade Fox's sword appeared in her hands as she shouted, " Spiraling Jade Cut!"

Her hands twisted as the sword burst with green colored light. Green colored sword light assaulted the arms of Hammer Fist.

" Thundering Fist!"

Hammer Fist became astonished as his spiritual qi erupted. His arms glowed with pale light as he punched at Jade Fox.

*BOOM BOOM*

With a booming sound, his fist collided with the sword of Jade Fox. Her body swayed as it got pushed backward.

The crowd cheered as they saw the fight. Yang Shi sat gazed at the battle with a serene face.

" Damn! This woman is fierce! A person commented.

" Heh, Another powerful woman like Shadow Witch." A young man hissed.

Yang Shi's ears perked as he heard Shadow Witch's name as he suddenly remembered Hua Yewan.

The battle between Jade Fox and Hammer Fist became fierce as each moment passed.

" Maddened Bull Fist!" Hammer Fist clenched his fists as he jumped. His metallic gloves glowed as punched again with terrifying momentum.

" Gliding Jade Steps!" Jade Fox's legs moved as she became a green flash of light. Hammer Fist's punch landed on the ground as the ground trembled.

" Jade Lightning Cut!" Jade Fox appeared behind him like a streak of jade light flashed.

" Damn!" Hammer Fist used his arms to block the attack, but it was way too fast.  Jade Fox's sword already stabbed his thighs.

" Fuck! You little Bitch! Iron Hammer Fist!" Since they are close to each other Hammer Fist used it as an advantage as his fist came at Jade Fox like a cannonball.

" Spiraling Jade Cut!" Jade Fox's hands trembled the sword made a twisted cut. Jade light exploded as it cut a large chunk of the flesh of Hammer Fist.

Blood splattered as Hammer Fist trotted backward. His eyes already went red from rage. His body quivered as he swung his left arm, making a surprise attack at Jade Fox.

" !!!"

Although she didn't lower her vigilance, she still got struck by the attack. She used her sword to block, but the impact was so great that she blasted back and slammed on the ground.

" Cough!" She coughed as a trickle of blood dripped from her mouth, She used her sword as a support as she slowly stood up.

" An opportunity!" Hammer Fist's eyes narrowed as he clenched his teeth. The injury was not light, yet now, he was suppressing it all of his might to defeat Jade Fox.

" Iron Hammer Fist!" He attacked Jade Fox with all of his might. His arms glowed as various patterns swirled on them.

Jade Fox didn't move as she stood there calmly. But suddenly, her sword vanished as she bent her body to the left.

" Jade Lightning Cut!" 

This time, she attacked exactly at the wounded spot of Hammer Fist. Her word stabbed Hammer Fist as Jade Fox jumped. 

Her kick landed on the chest of the Hammer Fist as he fell backward.

" Cough, cough!" 

Blood gushed from his abdomen as he struggled to get up. But unfortunately, he couldn't.

" I… Surrender." Hammer Fist coughed as he spoke.

" WHOA!!!" The crowd burst with cheers. They never expect that Jade Fox will be able to defeat Hammer Fist.

" Damn! That Jade Fox really won."

" Did you see her sword technique? It was so exquisite and powerful."

" I bet that must be a high grade technique."

The crowd discussed as Yang Shi breathed in relief. Although he appeared to be calm, his palms were already sweated. He got up as he rushed to the main hall.

Jade Fox nodded to Hammer Fist as she went back to the main hall.

"Damn!" She clenched her left arm as it was swollen slightly. From her eyes, it was evident that she was in pain.

" Miss Jade Fox, if you are injured, you can rest in our rooms." A servant came to Jade Fox. She nodded as she went with the servant.

As she entered the room, he saw Yang Shi was already preparing medicines.

" Injuries, huh?" He muttered as he looked at Jade Fox.

" Come Ruxue, Eat this pill." Yang Shi looked at Jade Fox as she took off her mask.
