Chapter 235: Going to the Demonic Sound Palace

Yang Shi worked for the entire night and forged various kinds of weapons.

" For now, I have ten Quasi True grade and thirty High tier Spirit grade artifacts. It should be enough for now."josei

He didn't try to refine medicinal herb again as he need to be in his optimal state. He felt he needed to think about his process again to refine the herbs correctly.

" Hmm, I guess, I need to refine my Wood Spirit Seal earlier than I expected." Yang Shi thought.

He came out and saw that Bai Ruxue and Jin Yu were still sleeping on the bed. Moreover, Jin Yu was hugging Bai Ruxue like a pillow. But a trace of a smile could be seen on her face.

" They must have talked till late night. Seems Jin Yu will get finally relieved from her loneliness." Yang Shi chuckled. He didn't wake them as he left the Mo Clan manor.

" First stop: Demonic Sound Sect." Yang Shi headed straight to the Demonic Sound Palace.

The Demonic Sound Palace is a sect of Demonic path. Most people frown upon hearing the demonic cultivators, but that is not the case. The demonic path is just one of the countless path people walks to pursue their dao.

Although demonic cultivators are generally hot headed and fiendish, many people are attracted to the demonic path because of its techniques. 

The Demonic techniques usually have harsh conditions to cultivate, but they can be also fastened up the cultivation of practitioners.

There are many evil and bloody techniques which were frowned upon by the cultivation world, but no doubt, the most hellish method is also the fastest way to cultivate.

Demonic Sound Palace was not such a bloodthirsty and diabolical power. It has its own doctrine and moral codes. 

Moreover, It is approved by the royal clan of Azure Feather Ancient Nation, o it has many disciples from various clans.

Yang Shi could see a large palace with five mountains around them. Each mountain peak was shrouded by purple mist. T

here was a giant gate, which was the entrance of the Demonic Sound Palace. Yang Shi saw some guards were standing outside, wearing the black uniform of Demonic Sound Palace.

" Halt! Who are you?" The guards stopped Yang Shi as they inquired.

" Hey, brother! Can I see a disciple of Demonic Sound Palace?" Yang Shi asked.

" You want to see someone? State there name and we will check it." One of the guards nodded. It was very common for relatives of disciples to come to see them.

Unless someone is a high ranking Inner disciple or above, leaving sect as one's wish is very hard. One can only leave if there is a mission or else, they have to write an application.

" Who do you want to see?" They asked.

" Core Disciple named Feng Xiao." Yang Shi casually said.

" What!? Kid, are you messing with us?" They frowned as they looked at Yang Shi with annoyed faces.

" Who do you think you are? You want us to disturb Brother Feng without any reason?" One of the guards said angrily.

" Since I know brother Feng, he will naturally come here. Just say someone named Yang Shi of Firmament City is asking to meet him." Yang Shi chuckled. " It's not that I am asking you to run my errands for free."

Yang Shi laughed as he gave two pouches to both of them. The guards looked inside it as their eyes gleamed.

" Fine, But if you are messing with us, be ready to face your punishment." A  guard nodded as he went inside the sect.

Yang Shi understood that people need some sort of enthusiasm to work. So, he never backs away from spending a little to get his work done quickly.

Meanwhile, Yang Shi started to chat with the other guard.

" So, Can you tell me some news inside your sect?" Yang Shi asked. He was always curious to know the current affairs within the cultivation world

" Well, Recently, Our sect held the annual martial competition. Surprisingly, Brother Feng got third place." The guard said with an interesting face.

" Is this some kind of unexpected?" Yang Shi asked curiously.

" Although Brother Feng Xiao is one of the powerful Core disciples, he was stuck in the tenth position for last two years. But this time, he managed to jump to the third position in one go." The guard sighed.

" Out of two main reasons, one is that he managed to breakthrough in his battle techniques, allowing his power to soar greatly. Secondly, His new weapon, A Quasi True grade halberd."

" His weapon is fully compatible with his technique, so he can exert the full power of his battle techniques without any issues." The guard sighed.

" Many people asking him about his halberd, but he is avoiding them. But nonetheless, since he got the third position in the Martial ranking, the sect will favor Brother Feng even more."

" What about the first and second place?" Yang Shi asked.

" Second place is held by Lady Jiang, as for first place, who it could be other than the Little Demon King Han Sheng?" The guard chuckled.

"  It seems this brother here really knows a lot. Tell me more, I love to hear about all kinds of stories." Yang Shi nodded as he asked happily.

Hearing Yang Shi, The guard felt elated.  He cleared his throat as he started, " This is fine. Since we guard here most of the time, we meet all sorts of people. Heh, I even know many things which even the sect elders didn't know." The guard snickered.

" Ooh, Really?" Yang Shi's eyes gleamed as he looked at the guard.

"  Han Sheng hasn't gotten the nickname of Little Demon King for nothing. Currently, he is the most powerful among the younger generation of Demonic Sound Palace."

" From last five years, he is winning the first position. According to most people, he might become the True disciple of the sect and may become the next Sect Master."

" He turned 22 this year, but his cultivation I already showing signs of breaking through the Violet Palace Expansion Realm. Moreover, he is cultivating our sect's most powerful technique:  Seven Transformation Demonic Art."

" His strength is also remarkable. Till now, only Yuan Shan of Golden Sun Sect,  Zhu Mo of Dao Instruction Pagoda, Qin Yun of Azure Military and only a few are at the same level as the Little Demon King."

" As for clans, The Little Demon King already defeated the Huang Lou of Huang Clan and matched equally with Xu Fei of Xu Clan. I have heard that the second young master of Mo clan has returned to the capital. Maybe he will challenge Mo Yi next." The guard probed.

" There are many other powerful individuals like The First and Second Royal Princes, Mo Xiaowen of Mo clan, Yue Ming of Yue Clan and Li Hao of Dao Instruction Pagoda."

" But they already crossed the age limit of 27 and reached Violet Palace Expansion Realm. So, they can't be counted as younger generation anymore." The guard said.

Yang Shi learned all sorts of information from the guard of Demonic Sound Palace and he felt satisfied. He could see the situation in the Azure Wind City even more vividly. As they were chatting, the first guard came running.

He hurriedly cupped his fist and said, " Noble Yang, This is the permit token. With this, you can enter the sect freely." He handed a black token to Yang Shi.

Another servant received Yang Shi from the gate as he lead him inside.

" Hah, To think he was telling the truth. Thankfully, He didn't go overboard, or else, we would have lost our jobs today." The first guard wiped his sweat as he said.

" But to think he was generous to give us some tips. I could feel that his cultivation is higher than ours, but still, he talked with us nicely. Hah, his personality is amicable, vastly different from his peers." The second guard chuckled.

Both of them felt a favorable impression on Yang Shi.

Yang Shi entered the grounds of Demonic Sound Palace as he saw the inner premise of a sect for the first time.
