Chapter 126: Suggestion

In the bustling heart of the Market Bazaar, Raze weaved through the crowds of Survivors with an observant eye.

Her eyes, sharp as her instincts, kept a vigilant watch on the BidLink Communicator. Each item she had bid on still bore her name as the highest bidder—so she was able to relax for a bit.

This allowed her to have some time to explore a few more stalls, mostly those without many people hanging around.

After a few minutes of window shopping, her heart raced for a discovery that lay just beyond the next row of stalls.

There, amidst a sea of glass vials and mystical brews, was the Dragon Booster Potion—a rare concoction noted by the seller that could accelerate a dragon's growth exponentially.

'Amazing! Is this even true?!'

Raze's breath hitched at the sight. The red potion shimmered with otherwordly glow in her vision!

It was definitely what she needed as a key to unlocking her dragon's latent might.

Even Roan, who was currently a tattoo mark on Raze's arm, felt excited as soon as he sensed the potion!

"I need this." She whispered, her voice filled with awe and determination to obtain the potion. But her hope was doused as quickly as it had flared—the current bid stood at a staggering 3,000 Points. The number loomed over her like a mountain, insurmountable and cold.

'W-what? Just who would place this bid!' Raze's eyes widened as she saw it.

However, she shook her head after a moment as she recalled that her talent was only an Epic one. There must be some other Epic and even Legendary Talents that would allow them to obtain Dragons as their pets.

Furthermore, Travis, with his Dragon Blood Talent, might eve

"It's beyond my reach…" She conceded, the weight of reality pressing down on her shoulders.

It felt as if the potion was a dream slipping through her fingers, a dream that could change everything.

"I need to do something…"

In a moment of bold resolve, Raze turned to the one person in the bazaar who might tilt the scales in her favor—Shane. They had never met, but they already made a few transactions together and she knew his generosity ever since the beginning of the apocalypse. With a hesitant hand, she composed her message, an offer of future gains for his immediate aid:

[ Raze: Shane, I need your help! I ]

[ Raze: I found this potion in the Bazaar that will help my dragon's growth rate improve permanently. I don't think I'll get another chance to get this rare potion. Unfortunately, I'm lacking some points now. Is it alright to ask for your help? In exchange, I will send you Dragon Blood once my dragon grows older. Right now, he's still basically a baby dragon and his blood isn't too valuable yet.

]

The reply came swiftly, a beacon in the dimming light of her hopes:

[ Shane: It's fine, but I can't send you Points. We have to be in the same Clan so we can share Points. ]

Raze's heart skipped a beat. Shane's willingness to help without hesitation or question spoke volumes of his character. She hesitated, her fingers hovering over the keys, before revealing the daunting figure:

[ Raze: Uhmm... Are you not going to ask how many points I'm trying to ask for? Shane, the current potion is being sold for 3,000 points right now. As for the Clan, I'm willing to join your clan. ]

Shane's next message came swiftly once again, lifting her spirit higher than she dared to hope:

[ Shane: Should I send you 5,000 Points? I have to get more of those Dragon Blood then. ]

A deal was struck, a partnership forged in the fires of necessity and mutual benefit:

[ Raze: Really! Sure! I can extract a drop of blood from my Dragon Pet about two times a week! You can use the blood as it is to heal injuries or cure diseases. But you can't use it as a vaccine against Zombie Virus. It won't work.

I already tried it on someone… You can also dilute it or add it to other potions or vials to make them stronger. ]

'What?'

As soon as Shane read this message, his immediate thought was to increase the potency of his Project Zero's Super Soldier Vial. Those gene-altering vials could already make incredible Super Soldiers.

What if he added a drop of Dragon Blood on it! Would that allow his Super Soldiers possess draconic powers?

Shane couldn't help but smile after reaching this thought. He was hoping that the vial would no become unusable if ever tried doing it!

'Well… I hope it works. I only have four of those vials left.' Shane mused as he replied to her message.

[ Shane: I'd like to help with the potion, but we need to be in the same Clan to share Points. I don't have a Clan yet. ]

[ Raze: You should start one. You've got everything it takes, Shane. ]

Shane wryly smiled as he recalled the requirements to create a Clan. He needed 100 Zombie Cores, 5 Reputation Points, and 5 other party members to quality.

He both have cores and reputation points but not the party members.

[ Shane: I need 5 members to form a Clan, though. ]

[ Raze: If you don't have anyone in mind. I can bring in four of my friends. They all possess Epic Talent, like me. We were thinking of creating our Clan, but we've spent our Reputation Points. We've got the Zombie Cores, just not the 5 Reputation Points needed. ]

[ Raze: They're all trustworthy people and I'm sure you'll easily get along with them. We were all surviving in different areas, and we only managed to meet because we were all looking for a certain item. ]

[ Shane: Can you introduce me to your friends? Do you think they'll agree to be in my Clan if ever? ]

[ Raze: Of course! There's Lyra, the sharpshooter whose arrows never miss their mark. Then we have Jaxon, a tactician who can predict enemy movements like he's reading the future. Next is Kael, a medic with healing hands that work miracles. And lastly, there's Tessa, a scout who can move unseen and unheard. They're all trustworthy and exceptional in their skills.
