Chapter 325: Quick Negotation
Chapter 325: Quick Negotation
Shane and Lysandra had their complimentary breakfast before they decided to visit the Shelter Lord's building in order to inform them about their solution for their lack of medical pills, potions, or items related to health recovery.
At this time, Shane had 630 pieces of Drifterwood Healing Token, and Shane knew that it was more than enough for Kang Zhen.
This person may not even be capable of buying half of them, but Shane decided to have plenty of reserves.

The next morning, Shane and Lysandra enjoyed their complimentary breakfast at the inn. The dining hall was filled with the aroma of freshly baked bread and brewed coffee, providing a comforting start to their day.
"Ready to present our solution?" Lysandra asked, taking a sip of her coffee. She only planned to accompany Shane and would just act as his secretary or some sort.
Shane nodded, finishing his meal. "Let's do this."
They made their way to the Shelter Lord's building, the heart of the Ivory Gear Shelter's administration. As they approached, they noticed a long line of people stretching out from the entrance.
After listening to their conversations, it seemed that many had come to offer their solutions to the medical supply crisis.
"Looks like we're not the only ones with ideas," Lysandra remarked, observing the crowd.
Shane nodded as he felt surprised. He didn't expect that there would be a lot of people who would try to solve the shelter's problem.
'Did they also make some pills or potions? No, perhaps they were just selling the potions they'd kept in their treasury… This is interesting…' Shane mused.
However, as he continued to listen to the conversations around them he couldn't help but feel amused.
It was similar to Lysandra, who also heard their conversations as she joined the line.
They heard various proposals: some of them had seeds of the main ingredients for a healing drug and thought of suggesting to the Lord to plant them, and others talked about trading with other neutral shelters using their trading caravans. A few individuals also whispered about secret locations of Zombie Dens where healing supplies could be scavenged.
There were also those who planned to offer recipes for making healing pills or similar remedies.
"It seems like everyone has a different approach," Shane said, glancing at Lysandra. "But it looks like we're the only ones who actually brought the supply itself."
Lysandra nodded. "That should give us an edge. Let's hope Lord Kang Zhen sees the value in what we've done."
After what felt like an eternity, they finally reached the front of the line.
A guard directed them to a waiting area inside the building. Moments later, they were ushered into a spacious room where Lord Kang Zhen sat behind a large desk, flanked by his advisors.
They all had tired faces as they seemed to be running out of patience with the various offers they just heard.
Shane was actually surprised that Kang Zhen was there with his arms crossed, looking really irritated. Anyway, because of this, Shane liked the Shelter Lord more as he was actually willing to spend his time on this instead of just letting his Advisors make an appropriate solution.
"State your business," one of the advisors said, eyeing them curiously.
Shane stepped forward, holding up six pieces of the Drifterwood Healing Tokens. It was an exact number of the people present in the room, excluding the two of them.
"My name is Shane, and this is Lysandra. We have plenty of these Drifterwood Healing Tokens that can provide a decent healing effect. Each of them can be used 25 times, and we believe these can help solve the medical supply issue."
Lord Kang Zhen leaned forward, his interest piqued. This was the reason why he clearly mentioned that he would accept any type of solution to their problem. It was for them to get this kind of creative solution that none of them had thought of.
After all, they have already raided a lot of areas where herbs that could make medicinal drug grows. This means that what they needed was a different source of health recovery items or materials.
"Show me." Kang Zhen said as he observed the handsome black-haired man and the charming lady behind him. The lady wasn't a peerless beauty like his wives, but she was certainly appealing with her aura and her curves…
Kang Zhen shook his head as he erased his random thoughts.
At this time, Shane had already handed over the Token to everyone. Then, he explained their effects so they could compare them to see if they matched his description.
Of course, he didn't mention anything related to the infusion of his Fast Regeneration Skill. He simply repeated the effects of the potion.
As the advisors were the ones who had taken them first, they were the ones who had immediately reacted...
"Amazing! Although the effect requires 10 seconds to take full effect, it can provide a huge amount of life force! This is marvelous!"
"Indeed… And as he said, it can be used for 25 times! A single token is actually equal to 25 Intermediate-grade Rejuvenation Pill!"
"If we can have a hundred of these, we might be able to conquer the last three Zombie Dens, my lord!"
"We can also continue that mining with this!"
The advisors immediately expressed their opinion as they confirmed the effects of the Token.
Seeing that it seemed to be a legitimate healing object, Kang Zhen nodded as he examined the Token…
After some time, his eyes also lit up in excitement.
"This is impressive. You have indeed brought a tangible solution."
He looked up at Shane and Lysandra, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.
"You have done well… Now, I believe you can supply us with more of these. Tell us the price."
Shane and Lysandra exchanged relieved glances. It seemed that they already passed through the first stage of earning profit.
Shane smiled at the question, and instead of giving an offer, he answered with a question.
"Although I have something in mind, I would like to know what you can offer for these healing tokens… I trust that Lord Kang Zhen can give us a fair price… What do you say?"
