Chapter 436 Warning
Chapter 436 Warning
Shane had never encountered any Lord Tier Zombies at all. The other tier that he knew was the Special Tier Zombies, and one of them was the Butcher Master Zombie.
Nonetheless, if there was a Lord Tier indeed, he wondered whether one of them had already been killed and discovered their existence.
Whoever did such a thing certainly deserved his respect.
Thankfully, he wasn't the only one confused with the appearance of the Lord Tier Zombies in the chat. They even forgot the threat of the Wild Shelters for a moment.
After reading through the conversation, Micah was able to answer their confusion.
[ Micah: Oh… I'm not sure whether a Lord Tier Zombie has already been killed. However, we learned about this Lord Tier Zombie after the system warned us when we reached its territory. Something like 'You are about to enter the Lord Tier Zombie's Territory…']
[ Raze: Do you think that this Lord Tier Zombie was defeated by those skeletons? ]
[ Sasha: Right, isn't that a bit too weak for a Lord Tier Zombie to get killed by skellies? ]
[ Micah: Uhm… Well, we didn't really see what happened. We just noticed that the warning disappeared, and the Lord Tier Zombie was nowhere to be seen. We amassed a group of 120 Survivors for that mission and ended up nothing… All our preparations had become useless. ]
[ Natalie: I also know two locations of Lord Tier Zombies. I can sell their coordinates since we can't handle them yet. I just like to remind you that I'll only sell their locations to those who are ready. What I mean about that is that their team should be at level 50 at the very least. ]
[ Raze: Level 50?! ]
[ Travis: Level 50 to deal with the Lord Tier Zombie? ]
[ Assad: Is this something you learned from the system? ]
[ Natalie: To be exact, it was divined by one of my Seers. ]
[ Micah: Wait—Then we're supposed to die if we really attacked that Lord-Tier Zombie? I thought 120 Survivors would be more than enough… ]
[ Natalie: Yes… I think you were saved by those Necromancers. However, I believe that the Lord Tier Zombie wasn't killed yet and just moved to a different location. ]
"So it's something like that… Lord Tier, huh…" Shane muttered as the tier guide or threat level for the Zombies was different from the Fairy Realm and A.I. Rebellion.
Anyway, after this part was cleared, the conversations related to the Wild Shelter's movement started once again. Many of them actually thought that these Wild Shelters would suffer greatly during the Zombie Wave. Considering they also harassed these Necromancers beforehand, they thought that these dark magicians wouldn't be able to survive the Waves.
However, it was certainly different as they gained more summons!
Many of them could only guess that the Necromancers seemed to have used the Zombie Wave to increase their Dark Energy. They probably collected more blood, corpses, or anything they could use to summon more undead creatures than they could normally control.
[ Nina: Maybe they're preparing for something bigger. This is actually getting scary. Just imagine a horde of Undead Creatures controlled by Necromancer… It will definitely cause a lot of trouble. Well, it's more than a little concerning. ]
[ Emma: If they are doing something big, we'd better be prepared. This kind of scale can't be for nothing. Good luck, everyone… I'll be readying my team now. ]
[ Tarek: All I know is they're stepping on our territory. If they keep snatching up the Zombies, how are we supposed to level up? I'm not thrilled about dealing with Necromancers, but we might have to confront them soon. ]
[ Patricia: Exactly. It might be time to coordinate. If we don't do something, we're just handing over all the experience points in our zones to them. ]
[ Travis: Before everyone logs out… I'll just remind you that the system announcements haven't appeared yet. Normally, the day after the Zombie Wave, we will receive an announcement telling us about the next events, whether there's an Auction or a Boss Raid Event. We will also be informed of the next Zombie Wave. However, none of that happened yet. Something big might come soon, so everyone should be ready. ]
As Travis said this, everyone paused for a moment and nodded. There was indeed a pattern with the System Announcement before. However, this pattern was suddenly broken, and they couldn't help but be nervous about it.
After all, these announcements were helping them with their planning… If there will be a Zombie Wave, they could prepare their defenses. If there was an auction coming up, they could gather their wealth. If there was another Boss Raid Event, then they would stock up their personal weapons and equipment in their inventory.
Nonetheless, they already survived for a long, so after worrying a bit, they immediately calmed down and continued on with their tasks.
In the meantime, Shane's eyes narrowed as he absorbed the conversations…
'The Wild Shelters, Necromancers, Lord Tier Zombies, and System's strange disappearance…' Shane thought for a moment as he felt that he really had to deal with all the concerns in his shelter…
He actually noticed the system's silence after the Zombie Wave. However, he didn't really think too much of it until Travis mentioned that it could be preparing something for them.
Nonetheless, he also thought that the system must be done from giving them advantages by announcing the next things to happen.
After all, the system might want them to grow with this method.
Of course, this wasn't just a guess and was based on his memories of other Apocalypses as well.
'Well, let's worry about that later…' Shane thought as he decided to continue with the rest of the day. He assisted the mining site, helped the farmers, and other tasks to ensure that the shelter was running smoothly.
He even ate together with them to strengthen their relationship. After all, despite having the title of Territory Lord, which increased their Loyalty by 2 points, he still wanted to form true relationships with his subjects and learn more about their conditions. Well, this way, he could improve their quality of life at the very least.

After all, no one knew what kind of Zombies they'd face soon, and there was also a Vampire Lord that could kill many of them...
