Chapter 137 Need Of Meat

Chapter 137 Need Of Meat

''What exactly is the issue? If you are unable to find someone to craft it, that is okay. Don't put yourself in any difficult situations because of me. We can just find someone else,'' Fehim said in a much softer tone than before.

He was touched by Raydon's eagerness to help him craft the item set. If his dry eyes were capable of producing tears, they might have already done so.

"No, no, it's not that. If I ask him, he will undoubtedly help me out. Just he does not craft the item if someone else already possesses it. I mean that he only crafts unique items. You understand what I mean, right? '' Raydon uttered this with an air of remorse.

Fehim scratched his head and stated, "I don't understand."

''I mean, he usually crafts things that are completely unique here on this planet. If he finds out that someone else has the recipe for the item set, he won't waste his time crafting it. Therefore, he'll ask for this book so he can add it to his collection before crafting the set,'' Raydon made up.

"Oh, I see. That was the issue. Bro, that's only natural, right? He must be an item expert if he can craft a set like this, right? An item expert deserves our respect. '' Fehim stated matter-of-factly.

The quality of the item changes during the crafting process depending on the crafter's skill, and the item's skill is also strengthened. Therefore, some talented individuals have developed themselves in this direction in order to craft items of a higher quality, and those who are able to craft items of an excellent and higher quality are given the title of item expert.

Among other item holders, item experts are regarded with the greatest respect. That's why when Raydon brought up the item expert, Fehim automatically assumed that whatever was bothering Raydon was actually the norm.

'This guy believes everything I say. Whatever, I can craft him something later. '

Raydon realized the value of Fehim's trust in him and planned to exploit it in the future. He chose to craft another item set for Fehim later on because the set he had was for the charisma build.

Fehim would want a share from the book because he knew it had a high value if he had stated up front that it was a charisma item set. Because of this, Raydon had to con him into believing that he would craft the item and give it to him later.

''Alright, then. It may take some time because, as you probably already know, item experts are usually quite busy. ''

Raydon spoke and contemplated internally. 'At least until I figure out how to craft items. '

He had started reading Herman's books on crafting, but he hadn't put what he'd learned into practice yet, so he didn't know what his current proficiency was. Now that he had discovered this book, he could put his skills to the test.

''It's all right, I can wait,'' Fehim said with a smile. His grin widened as he anticipated receiving a complete stamina set from his new pal.

"How long until your mana refills?" Raydon questioned.

''Roughly twenty minutes would be fine,'' Fehim said as he sat down.

'Roughly 20 minutes? Does he really have 50 mana regeneration? What the hell gives this guy such high mana? Is it yet another function of his body enchantment? ' He was once again caught off guard when he encountered another area in which Fehim outshone him.

"Are blue-grade body enchantments really so OP?" He glanced at Fehim and thought.

"Want to eat?" Fehim reached into his dimensional storage for a large slab of raw meat, held it out to Raydon, and asked.

"Is this mob meat?" Raydon asked and accepted it after feeling like he was becoming hungry as well.

''Of course, it is. After all, regular food cannot satisfy my hunger. By the way, it's death-type.'' Fehim looked at Raydon as if he had asked an odd question and said.

''Eh? Why? '' He was taken aback by the peculiar gaze he received and asked again.

'Is eating mob meat a requirement for zombies? ' Raydon thought.

''Obviously, this is due to my body enchantment. Don't you have a blue-grade body enchantment as well? Your defense can't be solely due to your stamina stat or title, right?'' Fehim said, giving him another odd look. He believed that Raydon's high defense could only be explained by the presence of a blue-grade body enchantment.

''True, but what does this have to do with consuming mob meat? '' Raydon made no effort to clarify the misunderstanding and lied instead.

'As a result of my body enchantment, ''Ashen Heart,'' I am also required to consume monster meat, but isn't this merely a disadvantage? ' He thought to himself.

''What are you talking about? Don't you know that eating mob meat is one of the side effects of body enchantments of the blue-grade and higher? Don't you also have to eat mob meat?" Fehim asked in shock.

He briefly considered that his body enchantment might not have any side effects because Raydon is from a supreme family, but he quickly rejected the notion.

'A body enchantment without side effects? I've never heard of one. Especially blue-grade and above. ' Fehim started to have self-doubt.

''Haha, I'm kidding, of course. '' With another quick lie, Raydon dismissed it.

'Shit. The books didn't mention it. So mob meat is needed for body enchantments of the blue and higher grades. How does this relate to my white-grade body enchantment, then? ' Raydon thought curiously.

Normally, body enchantments of blue grade and above required a lot of energy and had a lot more properties than those of green grade and below. Only by feasting on monster meat was it able to sustain itself.

In fact, this was identical to the desire of a normal person's body to consume food. When the body needs energy, it desires food, and when it consumes food with adequate nutritional value, the sensation of hunger disappears. These nutritional values could only be found in mob meats for body enchantments.
